Mavis and I are currently enjoying a well-earned break at our local Caffè Nero after a lovely 5-mile countryside walk (with 2 miles still to go to get home). She’s happily relaxing with her bowl of freshly poured tap water while I enjoy my latte.
While we’ve been sat here, she’s been very composed despite a particularly vocal dachshund and a doodle joining in the noise. Mavis has been watching them with interest, but she hasn’t reacted at all — not even a grumble! I don’t know if she’s just pleasantly pooped from the walk or genuinely unbothered, but either way, I’m chuffed to bits with her calm behaviour.
