We treated Billy to an afternoon in the secure field and oh my, was he pooped!

As soon as I opened my car door he knew we were off on an adventure, he hopped in and his body language just said "let's goooooooooooo!!!!"

Billy zoomed out the car and ran like Forest Gump! He absolutely loves a ball, even just carrying it around with him makes him happy. We thought with all his energy he would run around doing his own thing, but he stayed close with us the entire time, he's a very loyal dog that never strays far from you, regardless of how much fun he's having. And of course he wasn't going to miss out on our picnic woo.gif]

He is also part Dolphin, and had the best time in the swimming pool - especially with his ball!

Billy really is a lovely dog that is looking for not only a family, but a best friend love4.gif

Pictures of Billy playing in the water with a tennis ball - perfect. We also had a lovely walk yesterday and Billy behaved beautifully. Although he is quite big and solid, he is a real softie at heart and loves cuddles love4.gif

Lovely easy walk with Billy today, once his boisterous excitement at leaving the kennel was over. Treated him to a run in the local stream, where I got wet feet.
Billy is a delight to walk and stops and waits when needed.

When Billy sits straight to attention and looks up into my eyes, I just melt.

He has such expressive, beautiful 'love me' eyes. And it's not difficult to love this boy because he's wonderful!

Billy can be a little excited in his kennel when you greet him but he still responds immediately to 'sit'.

Once out of the kennel block, he's the best pal to have by your side. He walks well (often sideways, like a crab!), he is in tune with his walker and checks in with you lots (those 'love me' eyes again). He is generally calm with pockets of playfulness - mostly when there's some water to play in or something fun (or stinky) to roll about in.

Billy's a proper hippo in the water and makes funny, gurgling sounds when he puts his head underneath (see video below).

Billy is an affectionate boy and will gladly sit next to you for a kiss and a cuddle. He's a cuddle bug for sure.

Billy made a lie-down protest when I wouldn't take him to the paddock after our walk today but it was too hot for running around by then. However, it only took a cuddle and a game of 'chase the sausage' and he was happy to be put back in his kennel to stay cool - after another cuddle and sausage to say 'goodbye' on, of course!

You want this gorgeous Billy boy to look into your eyes, I tell you, you'll be hooked!

Bit mischievous and boisterous getting harness on and out his kennel, but once out , Billy was on his slow walk and sniff routine. He’s a lovely dog to amble around bridle paths and enjoy the woods.
Sits and behaved while waiting for his treats at the end of the walk.

Look at this gorgeous boy. Look deep into his soulful eyes.

I love Billy boy. He is such a sweet soul. He's very easy to walk. He doesn't pull. He loves a roly-poly in the grass and a cuddle and a run through the stream.

Billy can be a bit wary of other dogs sometimes. He can get excited and play with his leads when he first comes out of his kennel but this is just frustration as he doesn't have the freedom to run and play as much as he needs to, in a kennel environment.

Billy needs and deserves a loving home, a gentle guide - as he's still a pup - and lots of love - he will give it straight back to you and lots more beside... plus you get look into those gorgeous, soulful eyes of his all the time!

Please consider beautiful Billy.

Wonderful walk with Billy.
Sat and waited for me in his kennel, no misbehaving when putting his harness on and easy exit out to woods for a slow sniff and amble through the woods with a long roll in the grass at the end. Sat and waited for treats from Michelle who he met for first time.

Billy was such a happy boy yesterday. We started in the paddock playing with 2 or 3 tennis balls, a couple of visits to the water, and then off for a walk, still carrying 2 tennis balls. He really enjoyed his time out , including some lovely cuddles. love4.gif

I have really fallen for Billy

I love spending time with Billy. He still has a little jump up at the leads when we get out of the first gate and can occasionally jump up again if he gets over-excited but that is really just down to being in kennels. The rest of the time we are together, he is a truly wonderful companion.

Billy is sweet, funny, affectionate, silly and intuitive. He is tuned in to his walker and walks really nicely - often in a funny sideways motion. He has such soulful, loving eyes.

Billy has developed a fear of his harness being taken off - why, I don't know. I deal with that by distracting him with treats or affection.

Billy would love to get out of kennels and in to a home, where he can truly relax and leave his stresses behind. I think he is a really marvellous dog and I love him.

Please consider Billy boy.

Silly Billy, caught mid-roll!
