I met new arrival Sophie this afternoon - poor love is a bit confused with all the changes she has been through and is wearing a cone at the moment following her spay, so is understandably a bit down in the dumps! She was happily resting in a dome cathedral and didn't want to venture out, but was very happy to be fed some Dreamies. I'm sure as she settles into the cattery and can have her cone removed, we will soon see a more confident little girl emerge

Re: Sophie Tabby SHD DofB 30.01.24 RescueRemedies Centre
sophie is settling well. she is moving about and getting familiar with her new surroundings
she has her “lampshade” on at the moment and wears it proudly like a fashion accessory
. she doesn’t let it hinder her and just gets on with it

Dear little Sophie really charmed me today
Last week when I met her she was feeling down in the dumps with a lampshade still on after her spay. Today, lampshade is gone, and she was keen to come out of the safety of her bed to see me. We had lovely strokes, she had a good purr, and we had a little chat together
Sophie is really tiny - perhaps underweight or perhaps still young I guess, but certainly petite. She gratefully enjoyed strokes and nudged me for more when I stopped. I hope she knows she is safe here with us whilst we find her a new home to grow up in

I snapped these cute photos when she was in her bed - look at those big green eyes

Spent some time chatting to Sophie today, I have a real soft spot for this little soul! She is ever so gentle and when we give her a head tickle or a stroke its almost like you can feel her saying "thanks for caring"
