Westie here. We already have a standing order set up for the rescue, but we are going to make an additional special ‘one off’ donation of £500 with our September payment. This is in memory of our darling boy, Baxter, who crossed to rainbow bridge on 29th May 2024.
He was a wonderful RR dog. We hope it will go some way into helping with the funds the rescue has to constantly find. You all do such magnificent work.

Your boy Baxter was a very special terrier boy and am sure is very much missed but you will have so many happy memories I am sure. He’d very very proud that you’re helping dogs just like himself to find their own happy ever after.

I really want to thank each and everyone who have put themselves out to support our dogs and cats financially of late. We have never been in such a crisis, as have the Rescue Scene.
We are making as many pets safe as we can, and saved 18 in August when many Rescue's doors were closed. Our volunteers get our stress and rejoice in every one who enters our safe sphere and nurture them whilst we prepare them for their forever guardians. We have begun to see our Standing orders increase ...this is the best way to support. BUT IT NEEDS EACH ONE TO ACT.

Many people want to donate to individual dogs, or buy things. Every dog is equal in our eyes and we provide them with good nutriment and welfare no matter what their age, breed or... wait! They need for nothing other than HOMES. Always know we spend our funds very carefully, respecting every £5 gifted.
Our heart breaks to have to support so many. We can't rouse the funds others achieve in trying to save a life: We are the ones who step forwards and save that life. They raise 3 weeks emergency kennelling, that is vital and many of our dogs were made safe by these endeavours. They gained that help before we heard about them and stepped forwards. Our quest is ongoing, providing for all the vet care they need and supporting them often for many years.
So if you haven't felt the urgency of the situation and connected to actually set up a Standing Order or increase your current one, please do. I have a head full of worries as I try to provide for our animals. Together with us all supporting the Rescue's work, I will be better focused on the many ideas and tasks which demand my time, all ours time in helping as many animals as we can into safety and then into a secure cherished life.
Spread the word...we don't have big reserves. We have always employed what money we have to help the next. We are a Rescue of integrity and we all stand together with all funds going to pay Vet bills, Kennel Bills and necessary equipment. There is an incredible feeling of commandry in our Rescue as we devote ourselves to welcoming and helping our celebrity stars.
