If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum Adoption Donation is £250 (£400 for pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays. Ravnee's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal an evolving picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Had the pleasure of meeting Ravnee today. Lynne gave me an introduction and put her harness on.
She was very excited to be going on a walk. We met a couple of dogs just as we were leaving the grounds and she was very well behaved.
Ravnee loved the woods and was sniffing anything and everything.
We passed a cyclist and she was completely unfazed. I took her for a paddle in the stream which she liked.
I was so impressed with how good she is on the lead and listened to me.
We had a lovely time together and look forward to seeing and walking her again

What a sweetheart Ravnee is! I have walked this beautiful girl a few times now and she is so full of love. Quite bouncy and excitable when she first goes out but she soon calms down and walks well on the lead. She looks for reassurance and if you call her a good girl or make eye contact, she may stop and come to you for a good lean and stroke! She needs a little patience but is a gentle soul who is so affectionate.

Ravnee is quite frankly one of the softest dogs I’ve ever met. She oodles love and affection despite whatever she has been through. Today, I took her to Pets at Home in East Grinstead where she made lots of new friends and was really lovely and gentle with everyone she met, including dogs and children. She seemed a little shy in front of a single man who wanted to say hello but I think everything must just be new to her because she is fine normally. I can’t wait for this beautiful girl to find a home forever

Met the gorgeous Ravnee yesterday and had a lovely walk and play in the paddock
She found a ball and was very good at returning it to be thrown again, no issues when I touched the ball and it was in her mouth she just dropped it for me to throw again
She loved kisses and rolling on me
She was excited in her kennel but very easy to harness and paid no attention to the other dogs!

We had the lovely Ravnee come and stay for a week with us, and she is just the most gentle soul. Despite her size, she is all about the cuddles and human attention.
Ravnee was feeling a little delicate when we picked her up, and she was easy to harness and get in the car. She travels well and enjoys sitting next to someone and looking out of the window.
When we got home, she had a good explore, sniffing all the other dog scents that have come before her I am sure. She is house trained and had no accidents whilst she stayed with us. She wasn't left on her own, but whilst in the house, secured a good spot on the sofa and spent all night sleeping happily at the end of the bed.
She enjoys going for walks and is good on the lead. She met other dogs well and enjoyed a play with some younger puppies. She sets a good pace, but doesn't pull and responds well to her name. The only time we heard her bark was when she passed by some workmen in a high viz jacket, but once they made a fuss of her she was happy.
Ravnee is such a gentle girl, who obviously enjoys the attention of humans and would love a good sofa to settle on. She was good with our two girls who are 13 & 14, and spent most of the time following one of them around. She was very pleased to see us when we went walking on Sunday and popped by to say hello. She gives and excellent cuddle.
I hope she is not in kennels long as she is more than ready for her forever home.

I have walked Ravnee a few times now and I have to say, she is just an angel. She is affectionate and loving, not to mention gentle. We found that she LOVES puddles and has a great time in water by the looks of it! She can be a bit bouncy when we first put her harness on out of excitement but once we’re out, she’s so happy and calms down. She looks to you for reassurance and gets excited when you call her a good girl so keeping the energy calm on walks is sensible! She’s a perfect example of how Cane Corsos are bit cuddly, lovable dogs.
