If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum Adoption Donation is £250 (£400 for pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.
Benny's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal an evolving picture and positive skills as they build trust.

We thought we were lucky with our last fosters dumbledore and bodie, but we have manage to strike lucky again. Just a quick update for now.
We picked benny up last night from the lovely lauren. He has since been brilliant with everything. He slept through the night in the living room despite having access to all rooms. He stayed there until this morning when I took him on his first walk. Past a few dogs, which didn't bother him at all. He just looked at them then plodded on. He's had a good sniff around everywhere we walk, and we've already been stopped several times. People just love him. He's been behaved with every stranger we've met, and if I spend to long talking He's happy to just sit and wait. He was brilliant in the car, hour and half journey. He won't say no to a belly rub either!
Will update more ater few more days of getting to know this bundle of fluff. Hopefully get better pics too!!!

As Benny has been such a good boy, we took him to see the ducks today. He was absolutely fascinated by a swan that kept going under water and putting his bum in the air. we passed lots of dogs and people/children with no problems at all. When watching him today it was like he was just soaking up every moment, so lovely to watch. Cooler weather definitely helped!

I had the pleasure of meeting Benny yesterday. He is looking much better than the early photos above.
He makes little noises which are apparent on his video

Benny started to come put of his shell now, and what a character he is. He sleeps all night and is even gentlemen enough to wait for me to have a cup of tea before we go for our 1st walk. He can walk slowly especially when it's hot, but on our afternoon at the 6 acre playground He showed us He can run if he wants to, although he never ventured to far away from me. He ran up to every play thing like a kid in a playground, when there's just lots to see and just couldn't wait to get to the next one to check it out. Although the beach corner wasn't so exciting, more tricky to walk around, but he soon moved when his paw slipped into the water. Over all benny is just fab, he let's me brush him every night which he loves, and was on best behaviour round 2yo granddaughter. Unfortunately my camera is rubbish and doesn't do benny justice.
