Binky's Story: Binky's owner died and the police had no next of kin...8 cats were left all well loved, and cared for. We took 3 in: Binky, Yellow and Charlie. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place. Binky is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Binky was in Gatwick Cattery whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our cats, please complete our Cat Homing Questionnaire. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new cat within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay cats: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life.

Binky's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our cats, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: The police called - they had tried 20 charities trying to find places for these cats. We agreed to take and were grateful to all who have put themselves out to find these cats safe passage.

Binky came into RescueRemedies on the 11th July 24

Lovely Binky is starting to settle in here after all the upheaval he has had recently, bless him. He came and had a sniff of my hands (and my trainers!!) and was happy to have a little stroke and to sit with me chatting away to him. He is a medium solid tabby cat and I think he will be a big softie once he builds up trust ❤️

Binky is so much cuter in the flesh than photos show. A very pretty kitty 🐱 it’s lovey to see him continue to grow in confidence. Beautiful 🥰

lovely Binky… I think this lovely girl is still trying to adapt to his surroundings. He really is beautiful and less scared now and very inquisitive and loves a treat. In time I’m sure we will see more of his lovely character

I’m really impressed how Binky s coming along. He comes out to meet you now. Not quite ready for head strokes but I don’t think it will be long… he will sniff your hand so not scared and sits and listens happily. He really is a beautiful cat who seems very inquisitive and keen to be near. When I was next door cuddling another cat he was watching so hopefully he will want ‘some of that soon’

Binky has made incredible progress since he arrived with us. He was very happy to see me and really enjoyed being spoken to. He weaved all around my legs and enjoyed some head rubs. He’s so sweet.
