Wayne (Carrick) Blk SHD DofB 03.03.24 Dorking
Current Status: Homed
Carrick's Story: Born with his brother Fergus in a back garden and mum now disappeared. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place. Carrick now neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Carrick and his brother are in Gatwick Cattery whilst awaiting his new family.
If you are interested in rehoming one of our cats, please complete our Cat Homing Questionnaire. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new cat within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay cats: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life.
Carrick's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our cats, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: A pair of black boys about 4 months old. Quiet at the moment but no doubt bewildered. Have lived in garden but been well handled, not at all spitty, happy to be picked up and cuddled etc just not coming forward yet – but they only landed here an hour ago. Different garden to other pair and different age.
I think both pairs would do best homed in their pairs. All lovely cats no spitting or running. Just getting used to their new surroundings. Dawn Warden

I'm afraid I cant tell Carrick and Fergus apart (they have the same collar on which doesn't help
) but I can confirm that they are both the cutest little souls! Lots of fun, lovely to scoop up, and they play together happily (most of the time, like all siblings!).

We have all sorts of cats in our care at the moment - but I did a double take when I spotted what i thought was a 2-headed black cat asleep in one of the enclosures today! Fear not, folks, it was our adorable kittens Fergus and Carrick wrapped around each other snuggled up. Cuteness overload!

Carrick and Fergus were 2nd vaccinated on the 26th and settled the next day. THEN Nicola came with her "children" Harvey, Ollie and Esme. Everyone was so excited and so enjoyed watching Esme playing with them

Carrick (now Wayne) settled in pretty quickly! He's always hungry and wanting food! Haha. He's eating very well and getting along nicely with our dogs. Both boys are getting used to the dogs and both dogs have settled very well with the cats too! I'm very pleased with how relaxed they are with each other already. It's lovely to see. Wayne is very playful, happy and loves making a mess with his litter tray! It's lovely to see their different personalities coming through and it definitely makes it easier to tell them apart!

On behalf of Nicola:
Good evening all!
Just wanted to update you on Wayne and Benji
They are both doing so well and are settling very well together. They have been running around playing like lunatics and are always hungry haha. We love them very much and they are so happy now they have a home.
I hope that's OK!
Kind regards
Nicola, Harvey, Ollie, Esme, Wayne & Benji, Bruce and Mini
