Ozzie's Story: Ozzie has grown up with a placid Pug and 7 children incl. a baby: Ozzie wasn't coping. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Ozzie is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Ozzie came in to our Rescue Centre nr Gatwick whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum Adoption Donation is £250 (£400 for pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

I had a very friendly greeting from Ozzie today, he's a little overwhelmed at the moment but was happy for me to put a new harness on, we enjoyed a lovely walk with Murph, they settled together really well. On the way back to his kennel we stopped off at the Poets Hut and he enjoyed some fuss and treats, very sweet boy love4.gif

First walk with sweet little Ozzie. Collected him from the paddock. He was sweet and hopped his front paws up on my knees. A very relaxed walked and a few calm cuddles. What a sweetie. love4.gif

Ozzie came to the Vets with me this morning for our Vets to check him over and to give him his 2nd vaccination completing his course.

He was fine to be examined. We applied a muzzle when it came to vaccination, mainly because we decided to go on and clip his front claws which he wasn't too happy about .. .a little bit of wrestling but I didn't observe any attempt to bite or true attempt to get the muzzle off. Once muzzle off he held no grudge. The Vet examined his teeth a little plaque but fine. He has started eye treatment as they are a little gunky.

Ozzie is an impeccable Patterdale, feels older than his years as he has a calmness. Doesn't get easily ruffled but yes responds to his surroundings.

Beautiful curly coat. Not over foodie. Can want to follow you out of his kennel but easily enticed with a treat.

Ozzie is a STAR!!!!!!!!!!
