Elsa's Story: Elsa was passed to an lady in her 80s 3 months ago but she has struggled to manage a cat in her life and needed an urgent Rescue Place. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place. Elsa is neutered, chipped, and undergoing vaccinations. Elsa was in Gatwick Cattery whilst awaiting her new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our cats, please complete our Cat Homing Questionnaire. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new cat within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay cats: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life.

Elsa's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our cats, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: Call from friend of owner stating she really is getting flustered and havoing a cat in her life feel too much responsibility. She has only had her for 3 months and really needs Elsa to go to a new family.

Elsa was living with 3 other cats when their owner died. The son took on 2 of the cats and rehomed Elsa (and another to 2 people) as single cats. Elsa is a little aloof but settles and is 'close' one of the concerns of her new owner was that she would trip over her. Here she is within a hour of arrival bemused in new circumstance

Elsa was a little wary at first, unsurprisingly as it’s the first time I’ve met her. However she soon came out and enjoyed a stroke and some food. She is a gentle, sweet and very pretty

I met Elsa for the first time this morning, what a beautiful affectionate girl! Jumped straight onto my lap, purring away and wanting a fuss. She’s also very vocal, we had a great conversation - I only wish I could understand what she was saying!

Met Elsa for the first time this afternoon and she is just divine ✨️ 💖
Elsa was straight on my lap and is a very vocal girl who miaowed away! I spent a good half and hour with her and had no unfriendliness from her at all (no bites or hisses) and its clear that she would be a wonderful companion cat for a lucky new owner. My teenage daughter spent time with Elsa today too and reported just as much loveliness! Elsa craves attention and needs a devoted fulltime owner to nurture her every need ❤️
She is a very petite little cat who is very little underneath all her fluff, and loves to be scooped up for a cuddle.
I have a feeling she will be snapped up soon!

Elsa is always happy for a visitor and we had a lovely time with her 💕
She is so little under all her fluff and perfect size for a snuggle!
