BEAUTIFUL MISCHIEF today on our walk loving some tennis balls! This guy has so much love to give he’s such a softie and wants to play ALL the time! He can also get away with anything with his ‘puppy dog eyes’

The lovely Mischief came to spend a couple of days with us and he is a real bundle of fun.
He travelled well in the car, but was sick just as we got near to home after around 50mins. Not sure if this was a one off or the excitement of the journey but he was fine after. He is house trained and knows some basic commands including sit and paw.
Mischief is very bouncy and has lots of energy so is definitely for someone active. He loves to play with toys, balls, anything that makes a sound, with balls he enjoys fetching and bringing them back or if there is no one to play with, will amuse himself by constantly picking them up, dropping them and moving them around .
He walks well on the lead, at a good pace and can be strong at times. At one point he was surrounded by around 6 dogs, some off lead and met them all well and was unbothered but I am sure would have liked to play. When you first go out he can rag the leads a bit and treat it as a tug came, so as others have done, we just had to tell him firmly no and pay no attention. After a few walks this stopped, so am sure once in his home and settled this would phase out. He walked for miles whilst he was with us, and definitely benefit from some long distances
He does take a while to settle at home, wandering around, constantly looking for something or someone to play with, but once he does he will happily lie on the floor or next to someone and sleep through the night, ready to go again in the morning. He occasionally mouthed when sitting next to me on the sofa, but not with any pressure, more like a puppy does.
Mischief is a lot of fun, he is eager to please and full of energy. He will need a patient family who can harness that energy and help him to settle. When he is out he connects well with his walker, looking back to see you are there and stopping for a regular cuddle and show of exuberance. He is such a good natured boy who deserves his forever home to come soon

Beautiful mischief joined me at the dog show last Sunday and it was very very hot so we didn’t stay long! I can imagine it was quite overwhelming for him but he handled it all very well, he even stole an puppy ice cream from a greyhound (with the owners permission).
Every dog he came in contact with he wanted to play with, absolutely no aggression!
Lots of children around and he didn’t bat an eyelid.
After we left he was sick in the car so I took him home for a shower, he was nervous at first but enjoyed the cool down! Had a snooze and took him back.

We took Mischief for a lovely High day and he showed the public how amazing he is! He walked so well, interacted with dogs (including a couple of Corgi puppies!) and he was friendly and calm. He can become over excited sometimes and as he’s still young can use his mouth, but a ball or toy is the perfect distraction - if he becomes lead grabby a ball is your best friend then as well! He is such a handsome boy, we were stopped by so many people asking about him and he sold himself through his cheeky playfulness and of course handsome appearance! He loves a belly rub and affection and he slept in the car on the way back - an absolute dream. He will need someone who has a bit of patience as he’s still puppy-like. But he already sits, waits and pays attention, he loves people and dogs alike! What a gem this boy will be to any family.

Mischief does not deserve his name; he is a well-behaved, affectionate sweetheart.
I think I will also refer to him as 'Chief', as other walkers have done.
This is what I know about him:
The only mischievous thing that Chief does is that he can get excited and play with his leads. He simply needs a bit of easy, positive, reward-based training by his owners to re-focus him when this happens. Other than that, he is a well-behaved, loveable pup and deserves a loving home where he will win your heart with his 'best boy' ways.

Just wanted to do a shoutout for this absolutely beautiful boy. The fact he’s not been homed yet is a mystery to me because he is just gorgeous in every way! I’ve walked Mischief a lot over the last 4-5 months and my goodness, what a handsome boy. He is young so very energetic and playful, but he sits, waits and LOVES a belly rub. With the right attention and patience, he will be a perfect companion. He loves other dogs and does get excited, but when he meets them he is friendly and does calm down when given a distraction like a ball or treat. When playing in the paddock he always looks for me as he doesn’t want to stray too far and he’ll sit by my feet with his ball. He is such a precious boy and if I could have him, he’d be mine in a heartbeat!

I took Mischief out for the first time a few days ago and he was such a dream! Initially, he is a bit excited and he shows this through jumping up or lead ragging but once you start walking he calms down.
We went straight into the paddock which he was very pleased about and we played with the balls. Despite being ball-obsessed he was quite happy sitting around and enjoyed tummy tickles.
Mischief is such a sweet boy that it is devastating seeing him still in kennels. This young lad would appreciate a playful family who will give him the attention he deserves.

When I saw that one of Mischief’s regular walkers was unable to walk him on Sunday I could not resist the chance to reconnect.
This adorable boy has the loveliest way of checking in with you on a walk. If you call his name he checks-in and gives you his best “Yes, what can I do to please you face” especially if there is a chance of a treat or just being told he’s a good boy.
What a beautiful smile. He is very handsome and eager to please.
We enjoyed a lovely long walk in the woods, despite the wind of storm Burt, to use some of that wonderful energy. Unfortunately kennel life is barely stimulating enough and this leads to a bouncy boy on arrival, who needs a little distracting until we truly get going. But on our walk he remained calm and unflappable despite the weather and distractions. Mischief is very good when called at giving you his full undivided attention and will perform a lovely sit for the promise of a snack and a rub of his soft head.
This boy will make such an adoring member of a lively and energetic household. He will so clearly thrive in a home, I hope your family is just around the corner beautifully boy!

Decided to take Mischief out for a short few hours today and I’m so glad I did
He was a little stressed after the fireworks yesterday so was bouncy in his kennel
Fine in the car (even though he does have a tendency to get car sick but this was only a short journey)
I met up with my mum and her dog and he was the best boy! He wanted to play and they both had a sniff and an attempted chase but Mischief couldnt get very far on the lead! Took him home SOAKED but he didn’t seem to mind
He dried off with his towel and blanket and eventually took a 20 minute Power Nap!
I didn’t at any point experience any aggression with him towards my mums dog, no growling etc just playful bouncing
He loves a cuddle and listens to commands when he getting over excited
It is important to remember he is still only a baby at a little over 2 but I don’t doubt with time and effort he would make the best companion

Mischief is a wonderful boy who would make a great hiking or jogging partner for an active family. It would be lovely to see Mischief in a foster home for a little holiday... I get the feeling he would be a very affectionate cuddly boy!
