Ashley isn't ready (yet!) for cuddles but was happy to sit and watch me chat to her today, and no longer runs away as soon as a visitor goes into her enclosure - which is progress that her new family can continue to build upon ❤️ She's an older lady who has had her whole world turned upside down, so we really can't blame her for wondering what on earth is happening - just need that special person to come along and give her a chance to love and be loved again. I'm sure there is a snuggly Ashley waiting to be rediscovered!

Poor little Ashley still a little unsettled by changes in her life. BUT she is improving every day. She no longer runs away or hisses and likes treats and company. I have faith cuddles will come. A loving little lady is just waiting to feel safe xx

Ashley has gained some more confidence and came over to say hello when I opened the door, waiting patiently for some treats ♥️

Ashley still won’t allow a stroke, but hovers round my feet and gets very close when she sees the packet of treats! She’s got a very sweet little meow too!

It doesn't seem that lovely Ashley is afraid of people now, she happily hangs around when you enter her pen and today she happily snoozed whilst I chatted to the other cats around her. She definitely loves company and wants to know what's going on. She just needs someone who has a bit of patience and she will be a lovely pet!

Ashley is also very partial to cat treats. She’s not quite brave enough to let me stroke her, but is getting closer every time I visit.

Ashley does love a few cat treats - what cat doesn’t! Always comes to greet me to see what I’ve got to offer her, and obviously approved of todays offering as she wasted no time eating them all up!

Ashley was very happy to see me and even came over to the door waiting for me to come in today! She’s still a little nervous to be stroked but loves treats and has come out of her shell so much since being here ❤️

It’s lovely to watch Ashley get braver. She came up to me today, no hiding and welcoming a treat. Bravo little lady xxx
