Sweetie showed new dog Xavier the ropes today.
They shared a lovely calm walk together along the lane and around the grounds.
Sweetie is such a lovely sweet natured girl who greets her walker friends with such enthusiasm and love.
Incredibly easy to walk and listens beautifully to instructions.
Simply cannot praise this girl enough.

I love this girl!! She’s so kind natured. She still has some nerves but is doing so well. I’m so surprised she’s not been homed yet.

She's an easy girl to walk and a joy to be around 🩷🩷

New walker Maisie met Sweetie today and its safe to say she fell in love with her.
This was Maisies first time going in alone and Sweetie made it very easy for her standing still allowing leads and harness to be placed on.
Sweetie did not like the mud or puddles so was doing the cutest jumps to avoid them.
We followed Tam who was in front of us with Boo and both dogs were so good together.
Maisie absolutely loved walking Sweetie and was surprised how such a sweet, gentle and loving girl is still in rescue.
Hopefully is will be Sweeties time soon, she is so deserving of a home of her own.

After a stressful day at work there is nothing better than walking this absolute sweetheart of a girl Sweetie.
She is calm and relaxed when getting ready for our walk and leaves her kennel with no interest in the other dogs barking and jumping around.

However, sweetie hates mud and even though some of the path has some bark on it the rest is very muddy so we either had bunny hops over or standing waiting for me to come up with a solution.
We popped into the paddock and she was happier sitting on the table.

Once out on the lane Sweetie was much happier and her usual bubbly self.
We had a little jog for a minute and I got the sense that she would like to have a run so maybe once its drier will look at taking her to a secure field.

Like all of us that volunteer to walk the dogs the hardest part is taking them back, with Sweetie in particular as she is such an exceptional dog who we all know will be so content, loving and happy in her own home.
Please consider Sweetie

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve walked Sweetie so I was happy to be able to spend some time with her today. She’s such a sweet natured girl who deserves all the love like she gives to her people. Sweetie walked lovely with Ruby, it was a bit of a wet and muddy walk. She doesn’t really like the mud and will try her hardest to avoid it but still happily walked. Sweetie is such a beautiful girl and it’s hard not to fall in love with her ❤️

I say this about a lot of our dogs, as we all do.. but I have no idea how this girl is still here. She is so perfect in every way. Sweetie and I walked into the village with Claire and Joanne (dog) who was very unsure of her new surroundings. Sweetie was like mumma bear, an old soul showing her the ropes. She was calm, easy to walk and taking everything in. She sits and listens to commands, takes treats ever so gently and really is just a wonderful girl!

I’ve walked sweetie twice now, and she really lives up to her name, she’s an absolute sweetheart. She was a little nervous of me at first but the second time I walked her I feel like we became friends - she recognised me when I entered her kennel and I gave her some love and back scratches and as I was harnessing her up she gave me a little lick on my hand and I knew we were now friends. She doesn’t like the mud so we stuck to the road and she was such a good girl, so gentle and sweet natured. And she has the most beautiful eyes that just melt your heart when she looks at you! I can’t wait to get to know her better.
