Happy 13th birthday to my precious boy, he was very excited to get a new toy, I am sure everyone knew 0002.gif] . Jack is doing really well for 13, he has a Librela injection every six weeks which helps with his mobility. He had a dental recently with six teeth removed, he recovered very quickly. We go to the secure field four times a week, he has a great time paddling in the lake and running around. My daughter and granddaughter often join me in the field, my granddaughter like a to play hide and seek, Jack follows us no idea what is going on woo.gif] . Jack has gone quite deaf, definitely not a bad thing, he cannot hear dogs barking, thunder and fireworks, life is stress free for him until he sees a dog, only problem his bark has got louder!!. Jack is my daughters co-worker when I am looking after my grandchildren, he mostly supervises with his eyes closed unless there maybe a treat on offer. Jack remains my constant loving companion at home and is loved very much by the family Kiss of love.gif photos to follow

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Elaine, Leeanne and Lola all said goodbye to their dearest Jack this week. He lived into his 15th year having celebrated his 14th year in August...
Dear Lynne

My darling boy, was diagnosed with kidney disease, a few weeks ago, unfortunately he went downhill very quickly. I made the decision to give him peace, myself, Leeanne and Alex were with him at the end surrounded by love.

Jack was a wonderful, faithful companion and we all miss him so much. I have attached a few pictures of him in the field that he loved to visit.

Elaine, I was filled with sadness and sorrow for you and your family on reading this sad news about Jack. There were other emotions too - thank goodness you gave him peace at the right time in such a loving, dignified way.
I will always cherish the memories of my walks with Jack through the woods and the joy I felt the day I learnt you had homed him. What a smashing little Patterdale he was - noisy when he saw another dog but that was all part of his charm - such an fabulous little chap.
Thinking of you as you come to terms with your life without Jack. Loads of love. x
