Dash has continued to be the most amazing house guest! He is silent indoors (even when the doorbell rings), doesn’t touch anything except his own toys, and sleeps soundly through the night. He is very affectionate and loves a good snuggle on the sofa. When I’m eating, he doesn’t try to take food or beg; he generally just takes himself off to his bed.

Dash now enjoys playing with his toys and will enthusiastically run around the flat, fetching them and bringing them back when they’re thrown. However, once the game has finished, he instantly goes back to chilling out calmly.

Dash attracts a lot of attention and comments on his fantastic behaviour when we’re out and about, which he takes in his stride. He loves meeting people, though he doesn’t think he’s said hello properly without a hug and a lick! He is generally very laid-back and copes well with new experiences. The only exception is sprays – whether that’s a bottle of cleaning fluid (a good excuse not to do any cleaning this week!), a can of air freshener or a shower head – which make him extremely anxious, and he quickly tries to back away and hide.
We’ve been going to secure fields so that Dash can stretch his legs, and it’s been so lovely to watch him charge around, perform endless roly-polys and just thoroughly enjoy himself. Even when he’s very excited, he’ll usually come immediately when his name is called and sit when asked to.

I’m absolutely loving spending time with Dash – he so deserves the chance to have his own forever home, and any family would be extremely lucky to have him in their lives.

James came with his daughter Beccy to meet the very dashing Dash! James has been soarly missing his lurcher Sam. Dash and he hit it off from the start.

Steven whisked Dash off for a quick professional groom so the journey was perfumed!

James is going to take Dash slowly but is so happy with him.

Wow I have missed Dash! I havent seen him in a while as he has been on foster, he now knows paw and sit…I remember taking him on his first walk the day he arrived at RR and he has absolutely grown in confidence.

He is so well mannered and full of the joys of spring. He is eager to greet everyone with kisses and doesnt mind me running around the paddock with him having bundles of fun!!

PS. You have to give him a cuddle, he has the softest coat imaginable!!!

Dash came to Earlswood Lakes for a trip out with myself and my friend the other day.

He loved playing in the snow, and was as always a dream. We sat and had a hot chocolate and Dash leant himself against my legs for a little cuddle.

He sat and watched the ducks for a while 🦆
