If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £300 (£500 for a pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays. Bronz's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal an evolving picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original referral information: Bronz was being booked in to be Put to sleep 8th Dec if a Rescue place wasn't found. We offered saving his life he has to be out of the pound on the 8th. Bronze came into RescueRemedies on then 8th Dec 25

Re: Bronz Staffie x DofB TBAss Rescue Remedies
I met Bronz for the first time today, he is so so lovely and has the most beautiful colouring
he was happy for me to come into his kennel and then we took a short walk to where another walker took some lovely photos of him! He loved all the humans he met, enjoying the attention and strokes, and wasn’t reactive to any of the dogs we saw either. He had a good sniff round the woodland paddock, he chases after a ball but doesn’t know to bring it back! Overall he just loved getting lots of strokes and love.

I met this good looking boy today! What a lovely Gentleman he is. He sat like an angel when I went into his kennel whilst I attached his leads. We then excited and he paid no attention to the dogs around him. We walks alongside Sweetie which he wanted to say hello and play with but nothing harmful at all. He is SO PRETTY and has such a lovely nature. I’m so happy I got the chance to meet this boy as i’m sure he’ll be very popular with all the other walkers

Re: Bronz Staffie x DofB 14.12.24 Cheam Christmas Foster
Bronz is long overdue an update as he has been with us a couple of weeks.
When we picked him up Bronz was very pleased to see us and happily jumped in the car ready to an adventure. He travels well, either leaning in to the person next to him or with his head out of the window watching the world go by.
When we got home he enjoyed having a good sniff and then settled happily on the sofa next to one of us. He is a real snuggle bug and loves attention. In the house he is clean and will let you know if he needs to go out.
Bronz walks really well on the lead, doesn’t pull and meets other dogs with impeccable manners, sometimes bowing down ready to play or just having a sniff before moving on. He is the same with people, loves meeting them and saying hello.
After his op at the vets he was a little lethargic and not his normal self so we took him back for a check up. After a short course of medicine, and lots and lots of tlc he is back to his happy, bouncy self and it is so good to see.
He managed Christmas easily, enjoyed watching the presents being opened and joined in the chaos. He sits patiently waiting for food and doesn’t fuss, but does love a treat.
In the garden he runs around, but hasn’t quite mastered bringing the ball back. He will happily chase it, get to it, and then leave it
Bronz is an absolutely fantastic boy, good fun, well behaved and a dog who loves cuddles and fuss, he won’t be here long as he is so ready for his new family and lots of adventures!

I met Bronz for the first time yesterday and wow he is a real beauty with his amazing colouring. Once his leads were clipped, he was keen on having a nice chilled walk in the woods and taking in all the smells. He took directions well and didn’t mind the mud.

Bronz and I had a wonderful, relaxed walk in the winter sunshine. He is so friendly and chilled.
