Friendly and calm, Swifty is a delightful dog. He loves a good trot given the opportunity, so could be a good companion for an occasional jog or hike, but I think he’d be perfectly content in any home with loving owners to give his affection to.

Our calm and confident Swifty made me feel brave today and we explored an area I had not been to before.

IMG_3630.jpeg

With this quiet and confident boy at my side we walked out and crossed a stile over the river and explored the local fields via the marked public footpaths.

There were styles and gates between every field of slightly varying heights and narrowness but Swifty took it all in his stride and waited patiently while I clambered over each obstacle.

We found lots of interesting smells and long grass to explore. Swifty’s confident air even gave me the courage to pass quickly through a cow field, where we could see them huddled in the opposite corner.

Having obeyed our country-side code throughout we retraced our steps and left everything as we had found it.

Having managed not to get lost. We had just enough time for some rubs and a little treat or two for my trusty companion.

Thank you Swifty for bringing out my brave. See you again soon for our next adventure my handsome friend. X

Sadly I don't have any photos of Swifty from last night at the Kennel Sleepover.

Swifty has a really kind, gentle nature and would make the perfect companion. He is a little bit like a hen-pecked husband sharing with Fran and Swifty 0002.gif]

He is the calm amongst the chaos and whilst the others were arguing over who should sit on my lap and get the most cuddles, after a fuss and a stroke, Swifty settled down in his own bed.

What a gentleman Kiss of love.gif

Lucky and Swifty enjoyed a walk together today, started with a good sniff and then a wander through the woods. Both walk very well on lead, Lucky likes to be really close to Swifty and will pull towards him if we go to far away bless him. Swifty is very gentle when taking treats and enjoys a nice stroke.

Elle and I walked the lovely Swifty and Fran together today. What a stunning pair! So well behaved and walk like angels. They do like to be close together and do get worried if you walk to far apart from the other. These guys are gorgeous and such calm doggos ❤️

I sneaked the opportunity to walk this beautiful gentle boy on Tuesday whilst both of his room mates were out assisting with some training. It is a real treat to take him out as he is very popular! He is such a lovely boy, easy to walk, very gentle, very happy to lean against you for a cuddle and very good with both people and dogs. Nothing bothered him on our walk and when we got back and discovered his room mates had returned and were full of their own excitement at having been out he was very good about slipping into the room with me without letting them escape thumbs.gif He is just a darling love4.gif

I AM SMITTEN! It was my first time walking this boy today after always seeing him and saying hello I couldn’t wait to take him out.

He was so easy to harness and he was so patient while I adjusted it to fit correctly. bravo1.gif
He is such a gentle soul and walks so well on the lead. He would look to me for some affection then continue to walk when asked. love4.gif

But the real highlight for me was taking him to the paddock. There were a few noises (twigs snapping etc) that he was a little unsure of, but he loved coming over for greats and strokes and then we played a fabulous game of fetch! He was so adorable running for the ball and gentle dropping it at my feet - it melted my heart! love4.gif

Swifty is such a gentle, sweet mannered boy.
Easy to harness, not bothered by the other dogs and such a lovely boy to walk.
We had a walk through the woods and you dont know you have a dog with you as he is so light on the lead and just adjusts to your walking pace.
Fallen in love with him already and what a wonderful addition Swifty would be to any family.
We had such a wonderful time I completely forgot to get photos so will definitely get some next time.

Swifty is absolutely adorable and has definitely stolen my heart! He is extremely gentle and calm, and proved to be the perfect house guest, displaying excellent doggy manners. Swifty is fully house-trained, non-vocal (even when the doorbell rang or fireworks went off nearby), slept soundly through the night on his own bed, and never took anything that was left lying around.
All he really wanted was a cosy space to relax in and some affection. Once settled, he was quite independent and happy for me to be in a different room, though he would ‘check in’ from time to time.
He really enjoys going out for walks, waiting patiently while I fit his harness, and is very easy to walk — he doesn’t pull or react to people, bikes, or other dogs we pass. He did appear a little worried by some of the lorries speeding past, but he didn’t react negatively and carried on walking once he realised there was no danger.
Today we went to a secure field, and it was wonderful to see him zooming around, chasing a ball, doing rolly-pollies, and paddling in the shallow stream.
This amazing gentleman is more than ready for his forever home — whoever is lucky enough to adopt him will be gaining a brilliant and loyal companion.
