Jethro update:

We are now more than half way through Jethro's radiotherapy, with only 2 treaments left to go. Apart from a bit of diarrhoea following an additional sedation on Monday, Jethro has coped really well, diarrhoea resolved within 24 hours, and today Jethro recovered really quickly from the anaesthetic, and by 4pm was keen to go out and explore.

To avoid wet grass which would soak into his catheter bandaging, we took him to the beach. Jeth really perked up at the beach and seemed fascinated by the sea - perhaps this was his first visit to the seaside. He really loved his walk, and even found a dead crab leg to chew on (he spat it out again).

Jethro and Lawrence are now both sleeping soundly, and we though it would be nice to update you all and show you some of the pictures we took today...

I so love a Jeff update. The true LEGEND of RR. He is looking good and glad to hear he is coping with his treatment so well. Lawrence is looking amazing too. Jeff will always be so remembered for his cuddles, I bet he still does those mega cuddles!! Thank you Glo and Seb you are true heroes. Please give the beautiful boy the biggest kiss from me, I am remembering so well the days we sat in his kennel just having a "chat" and a cuddle. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks to everyone for their positive thoughts and wishes...

Final treatment is done, we are now home, looking forward to a relaxing weekend and return to a little bit of normality.

Jethro has coped really well; he is understandably a bit tired, but very happy to be home, and is going to get lots of rest and spoiling!
