I finally managed to capture Princess being silly on the video below. She is telling me she is bored and wants to go out. She really makes me laugh with her antics She is such a lovely dog!! Seriously if you are looking for a dog I highly recommend her!!! . She is so easy to look after, fits in with what you are doing, is great on car journeys, is housetrained now, and can be left for up to 2 hours now. Now what I do is have her jump up on my bed and cover her with her rug when I leave. She just lies there now and doesn't even go to the front door to see me out. When I return she is calm, not hysterical. I check her on my cctv and she just lies calmly waiting for me to return. I have never owned a lurcher before, only a staffie, but I can tell you she has hit the spot completely and comforted me after the passing of my staffie. She makes me laugh! The only thing she is not is a guard dog. She never barks at people outside the door. Anyway right after the video she jumped up on the sofa and went to sleep for 15 minutes until I was able to take her out. She would be a great dog for a first time dog owner. I also think she could live with another dog. Anyway here is the video.

So we have Hastings bonfire night this evening and fireworks just went off. But Princess wasn't in the least bothered by the noise!

Here's a little video of Princess watching people arriving for bonfire night earlier this afternoon. They all park near where I live.



And we just had more fireworks so I have videoed Princess's very laid back reaction. You can hear the fireworks in the background.

Last night I had a party at my home with 14 people. Princess was great throughout . At one point she was observed trying to eat some doritos which were on the coffee table but stopped immediately when told no. Later on when everyone was eating on their laps she was quite tempted as all the food was head height! So I put her in the bedroom for a short while and when I checked on her she was just sleeping on her bed. She came out again after eating and she was so lovely. She made a big hit and everyone loved her. Then even later on after I took her out for her evening wee she just took herself off to bed. I have several photos below. She was so calm throughout and also never tried to steal anything from the dining table which was above head height. She's a lovely lovely dog.

Princess is destined to be a beach babe! Today she met Julie who is whisking her away to her forever home in Hove. It was love at first sight! Be happy beautiful Princess!! I shall miss you.

What a wonderful meet! You can see the glee in Julie's face to finally meet the lady she has admired from a far.

Caroline has given her security and great times...Princess will transition into her new life easily and know she is home!

It’s been just over a week since I picked up Princess, and she is absolutely gorgeous Princess .

She is settling so well, first night she slept on her bed in my bedroom. Now she is sleeping on my bed every night, she likes to take up most of my side, so I am currently working on that adjustment

She loves her walks, in her new pink princess winter coat, and meeting the locals, particularly the 3 workmen next door, she definitely loves men:-)

She is eating really well, and we are slowing connecting more day by day.

Today we are off to Pets at home for new treats, and book Princess in for a pedicure
