Dolly's Story: Dolly was found abandoned and unclaimed within a Midlands pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Dolly is now neutered, chipped, and undergo vaccinations. Dolly came in to our Rescue Centre nr Gatwick whilst awaiting her new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and we will only contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum Adoption Donation is £250 (£400 for pup under 1 yr old). This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers in particular. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Hi Lynne

I hope you are ok. I have 3 very nice staffies all with good assessments and wondered if you might be able to help any of them. Sorry to keep asking Lynne I know how hard it is at the moment.

Dolly came off transport this afternoon happy to greet everyone and to receive her collar and harness. Currently has underlying skin condition which we will soon be sorted. Dolly is a medium size Staffie cross with a great smile...

Dolly is new in at the rescue and is a very sweet girl. She was eager to get going and her tail starts wagging the moment she sees a lead. On a recent group walk, she was full of excitement, happily trotting alongside the other dogs but would get a bit bouncy, I think just wanting to play with the other dogs. She definitely loves the company, although the warm weather meant she took a few well-earned rest stops to lay down and recharge. I look forward to seeing Dolly’s character come out a bit more but hopefully she won’t be with us for too long and will find a home soon! 💜

Dolly was checked over by our senior vet last week and 1st vaccinated. He wasn't concerned about her skin especially after we have flea and worm treated her. Today he spayed Dolly and so she is sleeping off her day as I type. Just checked on her and she is blotto.

Dolly is an absolute dream love4.gif I met her on Wednesday to do her photo shoot and she is just beautiful.
I adore staffies, they are one of my dream dogs and Dolly is one of the best thumbs.gif she has it all, perfectly compact, super friendly (she was very ready to give out all of the kisses) and oh my goodness she is seriously stunning, those ears are the main event and have a personality all of their own!! During our time together, the further we got to know each other the more I was the treated to darling Dolly’s glorious fun and cheeky personality woo.gif]
This girl is oh so ready for her perfect forever home love4.gif

Faye and Matt met the everso lovely Dolly today. She impressed them deeply. They however do have to introduce her to the children and see how things go as she has no history. Paws crossed!
