As always, a lovely visit today to see the gorgeous Nero! I absolutely adore this boy! He really is a big, loving, cuddly teddy bear!

Nero is always sooo happy to see you when you go to his kennel to take him out. He will sit for you perfectly when you put his harness and leads on. Then just plods on out of his kennel and off for a walk.

Today as the sun was shining, we headed straight to the paddock for a run around. Nero was chasing the ball, rolling around in the grass, galloping around and of course posing for some pictures! He is extremely well behaved, he will sit and give you his paw. He takes treats soo gently aswell, he really is one in a million!

We then headed off for a walk, Nero had done so much running around in the paddock, so he only wanted to walk a short distance today. Nero can be a tiny bit guarding of his walker, however he has come on leaps and bounds and is happy to great new volunteers going by.

When we got back to his kennel, he had a much needed big drink of water and some more treats - to which he sat and gave me his paw - such a wonderful dog.

He is so ready for his forever family to whisk him up and take him home. He is a big dog but he has matching big heart, and whoever adopts him in my opinion is very very lucky

This boy is just a different dog compared to when he first came in. Today we went on a walk with Claire and Chelsey. Nero did not like Chelsey behind him, not confirmed but I don’t think he has the best vision (awful at catching, and doesn’t like dogs approaching behind him and he’s slightly cross eyed) but once Chelsey was in front we had such a lovely walk together. We then went to the paddock, I was going to take him to his kennel but he lead me there and he loves the ball so I thought, why not! It’s so nice seeing him roll around on his back and just really enjoying himself.

It was my absolute pleasure to have Nero to stay for another weekend.
Again I have nothing but praise for this wonderful boy.
He walked beautifully shoulder to shoulder with my friends dog Mr.T and every other walk we went on we only had positive interactions with passers by and other dogs.
My 15 year old son also enjoyed a walk with us and they had a great time.
At home he mostly slept and gave great hugs we did some training, he can sit, stay, lay down, and give a paw.
I think Neros highlight was a doggy ice cream in box hill.
I just can’t believe he’s still not found a home he really is brilliant dog.

Nero occasionally stops but today he was very happy following Heather
Nero is so affectionate and endearing
All his regular walkers adore him
