Poor Boris had cruciate surgery last night, which went well we are told. We are waiting for a call this morning to let us know how he is and when he can come home. The cruciate ligaments were very worn and probably on the brink of rupturing so we know we made the right decision. Our surgeon Mark, at Mead vets Dartford, has been amazing and very supportive of both our dogs. Just got to get through the nightmare recovery process again now crying1.gif]

He’ll be feeling much better once he’s home. Penny’s brother, Stanley, had X-rays yesterday as he’s started limping badly on a front leg, probable arthritis so we’ll be checking out pain relief, we feel for you x

Thanks Guys xx
I hope Stanley is ok, Helen, it's horrible when they are in pain.
Boris was pleased to get home, bless him. He's very bruised but is on lots of drugs, and he's eating well (no surprises there) he's been very brave

Well, it's been a very long eight weeks, but finally, Boris had his xrays yesterday and all is healed, so he (and us) can have his freedom back. He is still skipping though, and we are hoping it will diminish in time, but he has another assessment in a month to address that. He also had a dental and had a loose tooth at the front bottom, so that was removed. So finally we have two dogs who can both run around and enjoy life again wheyhey.gif
