Sending you belated 70th birthday wishes. Hope you had a lovely day. Also hope the birthday charity walk goes well today. The number of dogs and, more recently, cats and other animals you have saved over the years is absolutely amazing. You truly are inspirational. You always work tirelessly and try to save as many as you can. The numerous animals you have saved, would never have been accepted by other rescues. This is just one of the many things that makes Rescue Remedies so unique and wonderful. There are so many memories we have of the dogs in the rescue, in particular, those of Gypsy (JRT) and Ruby (JRT) 2 lovely dogs we fostered at different times, before they found their forever homes. Other dogs who have always stayed in our memory are brave little Merlin (Shih Tzu), beautiful Glynis (Shar Pei) and darling Basil (Patterdale), who waited so, so long for his forever home. Sadly, they have all now crossed to Rainbow Bridge, but It was so wonderful to know that they all found their forever homes and knew what it was to be cherished and loved unconditionally by the families who adopted them. Finally Lynne, thank you for letting us adopt our darling Baxter. Baxter joined us in April 2013 and was the most wonderful addition to our family. Sadly, as you know, he crossed to Rainbow Bridge on 29th May 2024 and we miss him dreadfully. It was so lovely seeing his photo on the ‘Memories’ page. We are making a donation in memory of all the dogs who were lucky enough to have found a safe haven at Rescue Remedies but, particularly in memory of our darling Baxter.
Much Love
Pauline & Bernie
