Re: Danny Crossbreed DofB ?2022 RRemedies Centre
I had the pleasure of walking Danny for the first time today. I had seen that he’s excitable in his kennels but if you’re used to excitable Staffies, it’s nothing unmanageable. Holding is collar to stop him jumping really helps and that was as “hard” as the walk got. He is very friendly and was an angel once out and just wanted to sniff everything. He walks nicely with his nose on the ground a lot. He was interested in a squirrel and was alert but didn’t get OTT which was great. Hes such a lovely dog and I’m looking forward to building a bond with him.

Danny and I went for a great walk this morning, he is becoming far more responsive to his name and proudly sits with one paw raised waiting for a treat.
He loves to squirrel spot whilst walking through the woods but does still respond to his name if with a slight delay!
He is not reactive to dogs out on a walk at all, he’s far too interested in the world around him and looks quite surprised when other dogs bark at him.
Darling Danny needs his own active home to call his own, I just know 2025 will be his year.

Danny, Bleu and Hugo went for a lovely long walk today . Danny was a superstar, sniffing and just loving life outside of his kennel. He is getting better at sitting and staying and I think there is the hint of a ‘paw’ happening in return for a treat.
He is so full of love for life and his walker, he will make such a wonderful companion, they just need to fill in the form and apply for him…

The handsome Danny went for a fun sniffy walk with Austin today. Danny spotted several squirrels which gave him the chance to demonstrate how high he can bounce on all 4 paws
We then headed back, had a little chill in the Poet’s Hut before ending the walk with a nice chew in his kennel.
Darling Danny just waiting for his fun, active and loving family to find him.

I took the lovely Danny out for a walk yesterday, I’ve been walking him regularly for several months now and I just cannot emphasise how far he has come. He knows his name, sits for treats, walks in a slightly less haphazard and far less pulling manner on the lead and is all in all a quite wonderful boy. He loves his time outside of the kennel, is not reactive to other dogs and I do believe will make the most a devoted and fun loving exercise companion ever. I don’t know how much time he’s ever had in a home but I know with love and support he will be brilliant. All he needs is for his people to come find him.

Danny and I have had some lovely walks this week both on our own and with kennel mates, namely Boo and Billy.
He’s come on leaps and bounds in the last few weeks, he walks well on the lead now, loves a treat and will sit and hover a paw off the ground now too.
He’s a gentle sweet dog who loves to be out and walking, he is not reactive and is more interested in sniffing and looking for squirrels.
I just know he will make the best pet for an active household, he will thrive on routine and further training and I reckon would be great at Canicross or just being a running partner.
Now he just needs his furever family to come get him.

I’m aware I write about Danny a lot but it’s because he’s such a superstar. He’s come so far in his time in the kennels, he’s a gentle, sweet soul who adores his walks, loves his walkers and is so willing to learn.
He’s not dog reactive and is more interested in sniffing, squirrel spotting and snacks than other dogs. He walks very well on the lead, knows his name and sits beautifully.
He is a young, active dog, I think he will flourish in a loving, active household, with a family who will help him to continue to learn, to know he’s safe and allow him to relax and enjoy some sofa time at the end of the day.
Come find your perfect exercise partner, friend for life and joyful squirrel spotter.

Danny and I joined the National Dogs in Yellow Day walk in Ashdown Forest today. We went for a short stroll in the woods near the kennels and then he got into the car. He was a little stressed initially but after a few minutes he settled, I’d look in the mirror and he would either be looking out of the window or laying down, a v good boy.
When we arrived it was clear how wonderful Ashdown Forest is for dogs, especially ones that love to sniff, he was a v happy boy. We joined the walk and he was very well behaved. He isn’t reactive and mainly ignores others dogs especially when walking, he may have a look over but soon gets back to the main task which is sniffing and looking for squirrels.
After the walk ended a friend and I went for a coffee, he found the whole thing quite interesting and hasn’t quite mastered the art of chilling out but didn’t pull or whine and was easy to manage whilst I sat drinking my coffee. I sadly took him back to the kennels and I hope he’s going to sleep very well tonight.
