Happy New Year Pip! woo.gif]
I have not been able to spend time with you for a while now and I have to say I have missed your cheerful, affectionate company. Your licky greetings used to set me up for the day. love4.gif
You now deserve your own home and I am sure that this coming year 2025 will bring that to you woo.gif] .
You capture hearts and charm people who take the time to know you; you settle well into a home environment; you are friendly and affectionate; you are good fun and energetic but can also spend quiet time on your own. woo.gif]
Good luck little fella. I can't wait to see you again but your happiness is more important than mine so I am keeping everything crossed for you. woo.gif]

I went into the kennels briefly today (you don't realise how much you miss the kennels until you can't go on a regular basis) and I met Pip returning from his walk with walker Liz. He saw me at a slight distance and pulled towards me so he could give me the most wonderful greeting. He really is a special, special little dog just brimming with love and affection. Thank you Pip I needed that greeting today. x

Pip is such a joy to walk 🥰 He loves carrying a stick—sometimes ones far too big for him, which is both ridiculous and adorable—but he’ll drop it when asked with no fuss.

When I am with him he will usually join me for lunch in the car, sitting patiently (hopeful, but polite) and, of course, got some well-earned leftovers (who could say no to that face?!?)

His training is coming along brilliantly. We’ve been working on engaging and disengaging when he spots triggers like groups of people or other dogs, and he’s so responsive—he’d rather focus on you than anything else. He also walked past several reactive, bigger dogs today with no problem. A few glances back, but he was easy to keep moving.

I adore this little man. He’s loving, respectful, and just an all-round great dog. I really, really hope this is the year he finds his forever home love4.gif

Took Pip off-site for a long walk in the Surrey Hills, and after about 15 minutes of settling in, he was absolutely loving it. Full of energy, taking in all the smells, and, of course, finding plenty of sticks along the way!

We walked past loads of people with zero issues and around plenty of dogs. He showed interest in a few and pulled slightly towards them but didn’t bark or react—just curious and easy to keep moving. A dog did run up to him and get right in his face at one point, and he gave a low growl, but we moved on and he quickly forgot all about it!

As always, he was a total angel in the car—settled, polite, and just happy to be along for the adventure.

Pip is so ready for a loving home. He’s a wonderful little dog who just needs his chance! 🥰

Amazing write up Mary.
Thank you for giving Pip such a great time. We know he is so ready for his home - rarely if ever shows any aggression; just be aware of first introductions and do them properly (doesn't take long); just enjoy his fantastic company.
He is the easiest little dog ever and I am sure others will see that too and he will then be homed.
Meanwhile we will continue to enjoy his lovely company. Kiss of love.gif

I have been saying hello to pip for a few weeks in preparation for waking him
Pip was absolutely fine with me putting leads on and off we went for a walk and then paddock where he ran around with a stick for a while then we played ball
Pip is very attentive, listens and came when I called him
A very happy sweet playful boy who I look forward to getting to know better

I took pip out again today and he was very good getting him ready bit excited but no problem at all
We went to the woodland paddock and boy does he love a stick the bigger the better
Pip jumped on the table happy for me to get a picture and give him a stroke
We played for 1/2 hr various throwing of sticks , a ball and played tug with a rope toy
I think it’s safe to say we are good friends now

Took this little man off for a walk then to the woodland paddock
Pip was easy to get ready for our walk
Pip loves sticks and balls so we played for a while
I went and sat at the bench and pip came up on table and kissed me, such a happy moment knowing this sweet little boy has accepted me as his new friend

Don't know why pip has not been snapped up as he is such a lovely loving boy
