This lovely, handsome boy needs a comfortable sofa to call his own. Such a chilled dog when he’s away from the kennels. Happy to lay and watch the world go by. Loves a splash in the stream. Loves fuss and cuddles. He just patiently waits for that day when he’s homed. ♥️

Dylly was happy to have a paddock moment before our walk. He is just so gentle and loves some attention too. Had a quick runaround and is ready to set off. He walks like a dream and is just a very laid back dog away from the kennels. He is still a youngster and is good at listening and engaging with you. A lovely handsome boy love4.gif

Dylly has really come through since he joined us on the 7th May with his litter sister. He can be Silly Dylly when first meeting his walker with the excitement of a walk: however, he soon settles and becomes a model dog with calm centre which lead you to conclude in two years time he will have come firmly into his own skin and will make a fabulous family dog from now but increasingly calming and meeting life with gratitude.

Sadly Dylly has had to move to emergency kennelling as we have had to save so many dogs' lives recently the pressure is intense. Hopefully his family will appear as he is ripe for homing and now people don't have to contemplate two young dogs together as his litter sister recently found her family, gifting her brother all her blessings.

I just love this gorgeous boy. First walk for a while and Dylly provided me with the same style walk - stubborn!
We had lots of stop/starts and at one point, made himself comfortable, lying across the path going over the motorway 😂.
I’m sure once he settles being back at the kennels, he will walk just fine. Such a loveable boy and just enjoys a good cuddle and belly rubs. A big softy by nature, takes treats beautifully and just very handsome love4.gif

Dylly is definitely our favourite boy at the rescue and our first day out with him certainly solidified that thought! We took our lovely boy to Denbies in Dorking - he was great in the car, leaping straight in and settling immediately. He was full of excitement when we let him out of the car with all the new sights and smells but quickly went back to his usual calm self, walking perfectly by our side as seen in the images. He can sometimes be a bit stubborn on walks at the rescue but away from the kennels he was an absolute dream: walking all the way to the top of Ranmore Common without stopping which deserved lots of treats. We stopped for lunch at the cafe where he was admired by the owners and other walkers. There were plenty of other dogs around and he wasn’t fussed by any of them, he was just eager to say ‘hi’ and play. He was relaxed whilst we were eating our food, not begging or jumping up, and as a result he got a piece of sausage roll for being such a good boy. Finally our afternoon had to come to an end so with plenty of belly rubs, strokes, and kisses we said goodbye to the lovely Dylly. He would make such a lovely family dog and we hope he gets adopted soon otherwise he might have to come home with us!

First time meeting Dylly today. Wow! He is such a friendly boy. He didn't want to go too far on a walk today and much preferred to pause at the various benches on the kennel grounds for cuddles. I do hope he gets snapped up soon. He's a very deserving young chap! love4.gif
