Nero is top of my list at the moment as he has found himself back at the kennels and probably doesn’t understand why so he is a bit anxious
Today he came over to me when he saw me so I knew he remembered me
Nero was happy for me to enter and clip the leafs on without any fuss
I told him we were going for a walk and he definitely picked up pace as we went on our way once again ignoring all the other dogs
He is absolutely gorgeous with such a gentle nature, we walked down the lane passing other dogs and he was not interested or bothered by them
Nero and I then had a lovely walk in the woods where he was very sniffy and happy

There are some fallen trees on my usual route so we came back via a bridge with 2 styles which he had to jump over which he did with great elegance

There were some very slippy places and he waited for me to get my footing which is a good sign of how much a gentleman he is
I was sad taking him back but hopefully this post will encourage other walkers to meet him and potentially a new home as he is adorable

Lovely video showing gorgeous Nero definitely more settled and relaxed on his walk today
He is such a sweetheart, he was nestling up to me before our walk so made my day that he clearly feels comfortable with me
Nero loves the woods likes to sniff but today there was a lot of flooding and he was not a fan of traipsing through the cold water

He doesn’t pull at all and was good near the road and not phased by traffic noises
Let’s get this boy back on a comfy sofa

Nero is such a sweetheart. Very gentle and somewhat diffident, he was very happy to be going for a walk yesterday. He had a long walk without any hurry, but Nero does NOT do mud and puddles - he was most unimpressed when we came across a flooded path. He would much rather walk on pavements with grass verges. He was very comfortable with me, but, disappointingly, at no time did he take a treat. Lovely big lump.

Went in specially today just to see this handsome boy and take him out for a longer walk than usual to try and perk him up a bit

As usual he recognised me and came over to me at the door
After a few rubs against me I popped leads on and we went off for our walk
As Geoff says he is not a fan of puddles so he did some puddle dodging along the way

We met quite a few people out and he was good as gold
Nero did see two very barky terriers and thought about going over to see them but when I reassured him all was well he settled back into his walk
He is such an angel and after meeting a few of our walkers I’m hoping he will make some new friends until he is homed for good

Met this boy for the first time today, he is a shy boy, he wouldn’t take treats, but after a short walk, we dipped into the paddock. He walked around for a bit, he really loves to sniff around, and then we played some ball and tug of war! We then left the back paddock and I walked him to the larger paddock, we played in there for a little while too and then I finished off his walk down the lane where we did a little jog. He honestly was beautiful from start to finish. Looking forward to walking with him again

I had the pleasure of meeting Nero again today! He’s still not taking treats, he did in his kennel where I was greeted very nicely, but our and about he’s either not confident enough to take them yet or just not bothered. He’s got a lovely temper, he’s a nice calm walker which is great, he did get a bit excited whilst we were having a cuddle in the shepherds hut but he quickly settled back into his walk! He doesn’t seem to like the mud too much, but neither would I if I didn’t have wellies
