I can see why Milo is popular.
Given it was our first meeting he was very accepting of me. He was a little strong to harness and exit the kennels but there was another excited dog opposite who was riling him up.
He is a gentle walker once away from the kennels, who enjoys a good sniff about.
We saw plenty of other dogs in front and behind us on our walk and he was utterly unphased, even when a pair of noisy terriers decided he warranted a good barking at. He was placid and laid back throughout, though also enjoying a lovely long walk in the autumnal woods.
He has a great waggy tail and lovely soft head and ears.
He looks quite different when feeling confident verses unsure. We met a couple of walkers as we left the grounds heading towards us and he suddenly lost confidence and his tail disappeared beneath him.
As they recognised and greeted him, Milo calmly let them say hello (though he looked worried) before I encouraged him to walk on again.
What a sweet, gentle and calm boy, given he is also perfectly able to be strong when he wants to be. He was stronger once again on the return to his kennel but mainly as we passed the cats enclosure and then he found his adoring public; with walkers all ready to express what a great example of his breed he was (and share their treats as he pulled at their heart strings).
Milo also listens really well, even when there are distractions, and takes treats very gently. A lovely dog who will surely find his forever home very quickly.
