George's Story: George was handed in to a council, as a very kind finder took his mother Lily and 4 kittens out of her backgarden. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place. George is will be neutered, chipped, and undergoing vaccinations. George and siblings are in Gatwick Cattery whilst awaiting their new family.
If you are interested in rehoming one of our cats, please complete our Cat Homing Questionnaire. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new cat within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay cats: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life.
George's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our cats, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: RescueRemedies were asked if we could help Lily (mum) and her 4 kittens
George came into RescueRemedies on the 25th October 24

Awwww little George! What a cutie! He was a little bit shy today (can’t blame him!) but did come to the hatch to say hello! He even ran down the little ladder and watched a couple of the dogs walk by. He was happy to have a little stroke but then decided he hadn’t quite finished with his biscuits
First impressions is that George is a lovely friendly boy, I am sure he will become braver & braver as the days go on!

Jo and Graham came to meet George...They witnessed Lily his mum being homed and had then spent time with her kittens. George was soon being parcelled up!
Ben their son knew all about George, but has a big surprise install when they present him their new family pet on arrival home. George will then settle in with their cat Jack and their dog Milo. Happy Families
