Lily's Story: Lily was handed in to a council, as a very kind finder took her in with her 4 kittens out of her back garden. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place. Lily is neutered, chipped, and undergoing vaccinations. Lily was in Gatwick Cattery whilst awaiting her new family.
If you are interested in rehoming one of our cats, please complete our Cat Homing Questionnaire. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new cat within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay cats: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life.
Lily's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our cats, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: We were asked to help Lily and her kittens who had been found in the back garden of a Lady in East London
Lily came into RescueRemedies on the 25th October 24

This gorgeous little Mummy cat came and said hello to me and had some treats happily. She is doing a tremendous job looking after her four little kittens and watches over them carefully. The family have only just arrived so need a little time to settle but I sense that Lily will be a real poppet once she finds her paws

Lily is quite simply a superstar
In just a short time, this wonderful little one (because she is still a baby herself) has adjusted to having a safe place to live and raise her kittens, and today showed just what a wonderful pet she will be when I went in to see her.
I think Lily has experienced love from a human somewhere along the line, probably before she got pregnant and got dumped. She definitely likes to be close and loved strokes today - so different from the scared wee thing on my last visit.
Lily has had such a rubbish first year of life and will soon be celebrating her birthday - let's hope her second year of life is lived in luxury! She is the sweetest girl and will be the most loving pet

Becky and her mother Nicola both came to meet Lily this morning and was able to meet all her 4 kittens as well.
Lily made a beeline for Becky when she arrived. Both of them seemed to be 'the Cats that got the cream!' A lovely union.

Lily is such a gorgeous girl and I am beyond delighted for her that after such a rough year (being stray, having kittens so young, and then winding up in rescue), she is now home forever
Lovely to see her mooching around her new abode with a bit of Lily sassiness!
