Zebedee came home for the day. He had a good look around the house, even ran upstairs but he really loves to be outside or inside and looking outside. As you will see from the photo he sat on the sofa and was looking out towards the garden. He likes to be close to his person, as I was doing some admin at the kitchen table he was resting on my foot. We have a kitchen diner and when anyone is preparing food he does not come in the kitchen area at all even though it’s all open and he could easily just sit there watching. He sat in the garden on his own for a while and seemed to just mill around the patio area sniffing around. This time he played with the toys and enjoyed playing fetch with a tennis ball. Our hairdresser arrived and got a tonne of cuddles. I put Zebedee on a shorter lead and he sat and quietly watching us having our hair cut. Zebedee needs his own person, own house and own garden, he will offer a mountain of cuddles and love.

I really enjoyed looking at those photos posted by Nicky as they sum up this little energetic, affectionate dog so well.
He and I have spent time together on reasonably long walks twice weekly for the past few weeks now. He went through a period of jumping up at me as we walked and quite frankly was a bit of a pain! However, this has now been sorted through gentle persuasion and Zebedee on Tuesday did no jumping at all. I kept his energy low and we avoided the river and treats - all the things which excite him and he was a great little dog.
He is just so appealing and has such a zest for life!
He really would thrive in the right home. He makes friends with everyone and even his dog reactivity is becoming much less. He is a joyful, exuberant, affectionate little dog who loves everyone and wants to be everyone's friend.

I had a lovely walk with Zebedee on Sunday and was so proud of how much he’s come on.
Zeb was his usually squirmy self when I needed to put his harness on more keen to roll around for belly rubs. He can be also be a little chewy, under stress from his noisy neighbours. But all chewing is so gentle and slobbery and leaves no mark.
Once we got away from the stresses into the woods he walked beautifully.
As we entered the bridal path there were two terrier walkers coming towards us and Zeb fully contained his excitement, waited patiently and didn’t make a peep.
Further on a couple walking some kind of medium sized doodle dog were headed towards us. Zebedee’s excitement couldn’t quite be contained and he let out a squeak and made a little lunge. As the dog walker passed and gave us space the lady with them stopped to say hello and Zebedee showed her what a sweet friendly sole he is, just a little over excited sometimes by other dogs.
Zeb had done so well that I could not deny him a favourite wade in the brook. He loves it so and allows him a little cool off before carrying on our long walk for little legs. Before the end of our walk we stopped for a little break as Zebedee is an affectionate lad who loves a stoke and belly rub. While on the little grassy hill another walker approached on the pavement with a tiny chihuahua type dog and Zebedee could not longer contain his excitement spinning around and making a fuss. But with patience and a support of a loving family having seen his earlier control I’m 100% sure Zeb can learn to contain himself.
This cleaver and adorably cheerful chap clearly deserves a second chance at finding love.

Got to take our lovely Zebedee for a walk through the woods to the river; after the stormy conditions on Friday. Of course he was desperate for a little dip.
I’d love to know if he enjoys a bath as much as a paddle in the river. I can just imaging him covered in soap suds! Too cute.
Also found this in my photos after our walk - which gave me a chuckle.

Zebedee greeted me happily and trotted along briskly for a lovely walk this afternoon. Such a cute little dog, with the best eyebrows!

He really is the cutest dog isn't he? For various reasons I had not walked this little fella for about a month and so I took him out yesterday. I was really pleased by the fact that he has so calmed down. There was none of the jumping up he had done previously and he was a pleasure to walk. He enjoys his walks so much and I shall certainly be walking him again. Meanwhile he is more than ready for his own home and will certainly fill the life of his future owner with joy and interest.

As always, Zebedee greeted me with lots of love and a quick belly scratch before we headed out. This bundle of energy had the best zoomies around the paddock, chased the ball, and enjoyed a lovely forest walk. He’s super affectionate, sharing a few kisses along the way.
And his eyebrows? Some of the best around—just like his charming personality!

I had the absolute pleasure of having this wonderful bundle of love stay at our home for two nights, and what a joy he was to have.
Initially when he arrived he was so exited to come into the house, full of energy and excitement for being in a new environment, exploring the house and sniffing everything he could on his way. After an hour of him settling in, he let me bath him. On two occasions he did attempt to jump out, but then just stood still like a good boy with his head hanging over the bath. He loved me drying him down and then having a little zoom around the bathroom.
He was restless the first night, understandably, strange home, strange routine. but the second night he snuggled up to me like he'd known me forever. Zebedee absolutely loves fuss and attention. He has lots of energy and is very inquisitive. A sweet natured special boy who showed me he is so gentle and has so much love to give.
Zebedee will never refuse a walk, he does tend to pull for a while until he's burnt a bit of energy, but then walks at a nicer pace. Once he's had a walk he's lovely and relaxed and enjoys a nap.
Zebedee doesn't scrounge food and very gently takes from your hand.
Very friendly and good with all people. He can't wait to say hello to everyone.
A couple of accidents in the house during his stay, but to be expected.
Travels very well in the car. Couldn't wait to jump in as soon as the door opened.
Barely barks
Tends to pull towards other dogs, quite excitable.
I missed this cuddly bear when I had to return him, but I will most definitely have him back to stay as soon as I am able.

Wonderful little Zeb!
After our usual long walk in the woods, we had some downtime together in the paddock. It was so rewarding to see him nestle into me, leaning his fluffy head on my shoulder before rolling over for unlimited belly scratches. He’s adorable, affectionate, and a little bit silly – exactly why we all adore him.
We sat on that bench snuggled up for over 30 minutes; I think I enjoyed it just as much as he did! He’s a cuddly bear both at home and out at the kennels. He’d make such a wonderful addition to your evenings on the sofa.
