Gwenda has just been for a sleepover. Already the house seems empty. Saying hello, nicely, to a young rescue Ambull in Pets at home. She loves a snuggle and will snore away. She loves being on or next to you. She so deserves the best forever sofa. She is calm and so good at showing some of our newer rescues how to relax and just be a dog.

Selwyn and I had a lovely walk with the most beautiful Gwenda today, that were both amazing and enjoyed each others company

Oh Gwenda, I fell in love with you the first time I met you and so have so many other walkers
She is the sweetest girl you will ever meet, Gwenda has no negatives she is 100% adorable

She enjoys regular foster breaks with liz and has shown how easily she would fit into a family home setting, her gentle nature and love of cuddles and attention are heartwarming (she also loves treats)
Please don’t be put off by her size as all her walkers will say she is such an easy dog to walk, great eye contact and listening

Gwenda has the most beautiful brown eyes and a stunning coat
This girl needs a home of her own with a loving family please please consider her

Karen has nailed this beautiful gentle soul to a tee. Fireworks from the local school last night did not faze her at all. I have been up, (lots to do) since 6, and must admit not getting as much done as needed. Those cuddles are just too good

As always the perfect gentle Houseguest. No pulling when walking, easily distracted and non plussed with other dogs. She was so gentle with an elderly almost blind Basset Hound that wanted to say hello. I think she senses when to be even more gentle.

Invited onto our bed (Sunday sheet change day) but non plussed and stayed lying on floor outside. I keep saying this she is amazing. We keep getting her to drop toys, bring back etc and she does. I started to go to sleep on the sofa, next thing I get 9 stone of Cane Corso, deciding she wanted to lie on me. She will lie on you, next to you, on front back, snoring like a train, but she loves to be alongside you.

She is a scrounge, out of nowhere this black shape appears looking at you if she suspects food. Or if eating poking her head through your arm to watch the food...just in case.

So if you are looking for a gentle cuddly lady, who does love a game of throw please look at Gwenda. Fill in a homing form.

I returned from one of my walks today to find an unusual car pulling parking up (a 1955 Cadillac Series 62?):

Commenting to the occupants that we don't often see such cars in these parts, it turned out that they had come to see Gwenda. Pointing them in Lynne's direction clearly wasn't sufficient and I suddenly found myself performing the homing - no problem at all; my pleasure!

I understand Brian had already met Gwenda while she was on one of her foster breaks with Lizzie, but this was the first time for Jacqui. Gwenda greeted them both with her usual calmness and perfect manners and we set off on a short walk. On our return I fetched Beau Beau and we all headed off again on a longer walk. Brian and Jacqui asked to verify how Gwenda was with traffic so we headed into the village. Naturally, she didn't bat an eyelid when crossing over the ever-noisy M23, or with any of the numerous cars and lorries that we encountered - test passed with flying colours!

There was never really any doubt that Gwenda would be heading off with Brian and Jacqui so, paperwork complete, it was time for a couple of photos before the short drive home to Horley.
