Shadow has stolen my heart

I absolutely love walking her she gives me so much joy by her sheer exuberance and zest for being outside.
Her happy place is definitely water related, she takes me to the stream and waits patiently for me to go down the slippy path with her,
Once in the water she looks for a log or something she can play with, she is so puppy like it’s just so adorable

Shadow is very intelligent and so aware of everything around her from an acorn dropping to a deer darting out on our path
I really hope she finds a wonderful home soon

I might not have walked shadow much but she is just one of the best dogs, I got a lovely wiggle bum welcome when I came to her kennel (looking forward to walking her more but would be even better if she was adopted!!) I took her to the paddock and she had the best time running around playing with balls and a ball thrower - I know she shouldn’t have been running round with it but she seemed so happy!

It was my first time walking the lovely dog that is Shadow. 

She was happy to see me and was very patient with me fussing around with her harness for ages.  She stood absolutely still until I'd finished fiddling about. 

Once out, we had a nice relaxing walk with no stress.  She has a gentle temperament and doesn't seem to be phased by much.  She did all that I asked of her.  She was keen to jump in the stream but, as it had just rained heavily and the water was so full and dirty, I called her back to me and she came without fuss.  

I imagine she would make a perfect family pet; easy walks and cuddles at home.  Shadow is just really lovely!

Shadow really is a lovely dog, always the wiggle bum in her kennel but then stands really still when you put the harness on. She was very excited today and led me straight to the paddock where she ran round like crazy. It’s hard to get a good photo of her but she really is gorgeous.

Took this beauty on a different walk today to see how she coped with traffic etc , well she passed with flying colours.

Shadow was so good waiting for traffic to pass by the busy junction then we went down a bridleway with a stream at the edge as I know how much she loves water. We had a lovely play with a log.
We continued onto a road where once again she was perfect when cars came past, she listened to me and didn’t pull once.
We went past several mums with pushchairs and children shadow didn’t bat an eyelid. Then past a playground where she poked her nose through the fence to get a look at what was going on but happily continued on our way.
We walked over the bridge overlooking the motorway and she was very interested but not bothered by the noise, finally we crossed the busy road and she waited patiently by my side until safe to cross.
This gorgeous girl is such a joy to walk and be with she is so loving and affectionate hopefully she will get her own home soon

I cannot put into words how happy this girl makes me feel, shadow is such a beautiful looking dog, she is so full of life and energy and just wants to play play and more play, she is so happy chasing after a ball or anything that you throw for her, this then makes you feel so happy as her happiness is contagious, she loves a cuddle and truly listens when it’s time to move on and do something else

Shadow loves playing ball or running round the paddock with something in her mouth. She enjoyed the long lasting chew I gave her. Can walk very nicely but if there’s wildlife/ something she’s interested in she can be strong. She does know how to Sit (even though it doesn’t look like it in the videos- sometimes the ball is just more exciting!)

Today I took shadow to the woodland paddock for a play.
As ever she was an angel getting her harness and leads on.

We went to the paddock via the poets hut so we could have a cuddle first, more for me than her.
Shadow absolutely loved the paddock in particular a broken branch that she had a bit of a chew on, shadow loves to chew so you do need to be careful whats left out as if it’s plastic or wood she will be very interested in it.
We then had a game of me throw the ball and shadow chase the ball, she loves this and would play for hours

Sadly I had to take her back as I had others to walk but I am definitely going to take her out to a secure field soon as she would absolutely be in her element with some obstacles to enjoy

Gorgeous Shadow is a very sweet natured girly who is ready to jump right into a home. I believe she'd make a lovely family companion as she's very snuggley and not overly energetic.
We accidentally came face to face with a horse and she showed no concerns. She can become hyper-focused when a bird or squirrel appears on path so someone who is fairly strong must be able to handle her (however I'm only 5'2 and managed her strength).

I'd love to see Shadow in a home this Christmas. Please consider Shadow :)
