I had a lovely walk out with Faye. She is an easy, gentle girl who walks well. She likes to nuzzle me every now and then to remind me to give her some affection. We passed a lady whilst we were out. Faye very politely asked her "would you give me a pat, if you don't mind?". The lady obliged and remarked how sweet and lovely Faye was and how soft she was to stroke (which she is). Faye's kennel companion was happily homed the other day. I really hope Faye gets her sofa soon too.

Another lovely walk with the ever calm and unflappable Faye, despite now having a new boisterous attention seeking kennel mate, she takes it all in her stride.
Although Faye carefully and elegantly picks her way around the mud on our walks she never objects or refuses and was happy to walk in any direction I chose.
After a brief walk up the bridal path Faye nuzzled up for some strokes and an enjoyed a good rub. She then decided that she didn’t not want to continue, a rare experience when walking Faye. So I obliged and we turned back. As we walked in the opposite direction she appeared to consider every possible turn that would have led back to her kennel. But she did not refuse to carry on so we walked to the river as I had a feeling she might be thirsty.
Having taking her down to the river she happily stepped in for a drink. After a good drink she startled slightly and jumped up the bank slightly (which I had also not seen from her before).
A moment later a couple with their dogs passed above us and I realised she had sensed them coming as I had not. We kept a respectful distance as we were passed by the first walker and dog, then a second more skittish dog. Faye remained calm and stoic as always.
We then continued our walk, passing other dogs and people, with the odd stop for sniffs and strokes. Then before we knew if we were back; to an over excited welcome from her kennel mate Bobby.
Despite being keen to get her muzzle off Faye remained calm and patient as we addressed Bobby’s jumpy and pushy attention seeking before I was able to remove all her tackle.
Thank you Faye for your patience, which verges on saintly. I so hope your forever family will be seek out your special traits and will adore you for them and show you all the love you deserve!

Faye and I had a little trip out last week. Given it was the first time in her life she’s been outside of kennels, she coped with the new experiences very well. She looks to her walker and listens to what is asked, and is calm and affectionate.

For the sweetest of snuggles; get yourself a greyhound.
After a busy, tiring or stressful day, you may ask yourself: where can I go to get the warmest of welcomes and some guaranteed doggy cuddles? At least I did recently. I came up with the answer straightaway - visit the gorgeous RR greyhounds, of course!
Hayley and De Niro were out having walkies but I was pleased to see the sweet, eager faces of Faye and Bobby in their kennel. Faye has a calm welcome whilst Bobby shows his welcome in his excited body - both are adorable.
Sure enough, soon after my appearance, I had two sweet and quiet, warm doggy bodies and soft little heads leaning up against me, wanting all the strokes and giving me all the love.
Such gorgeous, loving dogs who will really cheer you up and calm you down.

We had a bit of a wet walk with Bobby & Faye last Thursday - and had some paddock time afterwards. Faye was more interested in the tennis balls than Bobby was, but Bobby enjoyed a mini zoomie in the rain! Lovely to see greyhounds running just for the sheer joy of it

Today a fellow walker Scot and I took this lovely lady to a secure field with her kennel mate so they could have a proper run in a safe place Faye was an angel in the car just laying down on the back seat once strapped in.
Once we got to the field she was very excited and so happy to be off the lead and muzzle free, what a wonderful sight to see when she realised and started running for pleasure and fun.
Faye liked the tunnel and had a good sniff and wander around the field but was never too far from us.
She came over for the occasional cuddle as she is very affectionate but in a really gentle delicate way.
Our time was soon up but I will definitely take her again as she really enjoyed herself and is so content.
If you want an easy dog who will just chill and love you Faye is the one for you

Hi Folks, as with Bobby, Fayes kennel buddy Karen's added the days outing to the forum. So as before I'll say a few words. Like so many of the other dogs I scratch me head wondering why Faye is still here. I usually walk the greyhounds on a regular basis & find their whole demeanor amazing. They're loving, adorable, fantastic temperamental & nature, very difficult to fault. Cause I certainly can't find any. But as before come along & find out for yourself, disappointed won't be a word you'll use. Enjoy the magical greyhound experience.

We took the lovely Faye (and kennel partner, Bobby) down to Goring-by-sea for a day out. She was brilliant in the car, jumping straight in and settling down quickly. After arriving in Goring, she was excited by all the new sights and smells but after a quick walk up the promenade, soon relaxed into the beach lifestyle. She was super easy to look after; wasn’t fussed by any of the people or dogs around, and enjoyed lying down on the rug for some cuddles and strokes. A great day out and hopefully a nice break away from the kennels for her. Faye is a gorgeous, relaxed girl who deserves a nice new home.

Faye is just fabulous. So friendly and cuddly, walks beautifully, always slack leads and a gentle stroll.
I really don’t know what else you could ask for in a dog. 10/10
