Gwenda was my last walk of today - she really is the gentlest and easiest dog; I'm confident a child could walk her without any issue!

I returned from walking Gwenda yesterday morning to find a family patiently waiting to meet Bertie.

We said hello and Gwenda really charmed them, to the extent I think she almost became an additional consideration!

We must have a spent a good 5 minutes with them and she lapped up and loved all the attention, moving between them one at a time.

Gwenda is as gentle as she is big - such a lovely girl. love4.gif

So much love for this beautiful lady. As always she was a dream. Even after a very long walk I hadn’t had enough Gwenda time so we hung out for a while and had some cuddles.
I’ve never met a dog that’s so bombproof but still has such a wonderful personality. I’d take her home in a heartbeat if I could.

Finally a chance to sit down and write up what I experienced with Gwenda on Friday.

So pleased to see me, massive great paws on my chest. Out playing ball still will drop if you say play. Loads of fuss from all the walkers..and sausages, she is not daft😂. But I saw first hand, the bombproof nature of this gentle lady. One of the terriers, barking up for a bit of a what to do (typical terrier who are feisty but lovable). Gwenda just looks looks at me, then off she trots.

She is interested in squirrels and yesterday this is where I saw her strength, but the magic of sausages did the trick. I mention this as any adopters need to be aware of this. So training around this will be a must. But she continues to have a paw on my ❤️

Gwenda at Horley Dog show.....sadly no pictures as Gwenda was winning hearts. Everyone asking if ok to say hello...absolutely. Not fazed by other dogs who came up to say hello, all sizes. She did get a bit romantic with a couple of the dogs, but easy to distract and did not react when one made it clear not happy. I did enter her in a couple of categories....prettiest bitch and dog judges would like to take home..both shoe ins if you ask me..but so hot..came home for a girls sleepover and rom com. 🥰

Beautiful Gwenda! What a girl.
She’s an absolute joy to be around and such an easy walk. She loves a sniff, doesn’t pull and doesn’t seem bothered by passing dogs at all.
I love spending time with this lovely girl 🥰🩷🥰🩷🥰

As I type this Gwenda is snoring on the sofa next to me🥰...She is here for a few days. The perfect house guest.

I think she is perfect, calm gentle (apart from Squirrel alert). However I must be honest I notice people cross the road. People from other cultures, who are not used to dogs, look scared. I am not posting this to put people off, but just to stress, whoever is lucky enough to offer a forever sofa, must continue with training and a calm consistent approach.

People would say thank you if I stepped back and she was always calm next to me. Saying that, last night and old lady saw her and rushed out in her PJs asking if she could say hello. She got a big kiss of Gwen to say thank you for the fuss.

Gwen brings happiness to our family, even though her stays are short. Her waggly tail first thing in the morning is wonderful and boy does she love to be near her humans.

Please fill in a homing form, as I still can't believe that the more I know about Cane Corsos the more I absolutely love them, especially Madam❤️

Gwenda continues to be a wonderful ambassador for her breed and RR as well. Calmly walking loved a bit of fuss when bumped into old neighbour. Has learnt wait whilst throw her fave toy....will post when get chance to take a video. Loved the cricket last night on TV, but I had to remember not to shout at the Aussies, as it did make her jump up. But chilled, snuggling up to all of us. When my husband comes in she is initially wary, then soon plonks herself down next to him on the sofa for a tummy rub....boy can they both snore🤣.

A calm, easy going cuddlebum. I love our walks to the park cafe, where she always gets a fuss and a treat. Our family are calmer as she is such a chilled presence. We love her to bits and know the best forever sofa is out there.
