I introduced Radhika to Poncho today. We went for a walk with Pip. Poncho is such a sweetie. He seems to have lost his bounce. So sad that he’s back, so wanting of cuddles and being close. Saying hello to everyone and hopping up on the picnic table to get even closer for cuddles. He did not want to go back in his kennel, he wanted to stay with people. Was persuaded with the smell of sausage.

Poncho came for a sleepover and I think he was very happy to be back on a sofa. He loves playing with the ball and other toys. Enjoyed chewing on the antler/ pork roll (didn’t have it all!) and had a nap next to me. He was soo excited when my partner came home, proper wiggly dance. He loves people and other dogs. A dog came up to us on our walk and they had a bit of a play. As others have said, poncho does have some quirks and needs someone to give him consistent guidance and training (mainly demand barking and separation anxiety) but in return he is so loyal and loving. His ears are also super soft and he’s such a cutie!

At the end of yesterday's walks I took him round the woodland walk and he kept that little tail wagging the whole way. He had already had his longer walk with another volunteer - Poncho is a popular dog whom everyone loves to walk.

In the right household he will shine and don't worry Poncho, RR will find you a family whose lives are centred on you and your needs because that is exactly what you deserve.

Karen took Poncho out for a second little walk at the end of the day. Poncho loves spending time with people and immediately jumped onto Karen's knee.
What a great little dog! He is certainly winning hearts at the rescue.

Met Poncho for the first time yesterday and what a sweet little boy he is. He happily came for a walk with me and was an absolute pleasure to be with. I look forward to our next stroll together

We met little Poncho for the first time on Saturday
What a lovely little fellow he is !
Such an easy boy to walk, stopping and saying hello to everyone he saw on the way.
His notes do state that he can be reactive to traffic..
as a car passed us he did have a couple of spins on the lead but we found he was super easy to distract on the next car passing with simply getting him sitting for a treat, no issues at all.
A very cute boy who hopefully won’t be with us much longer!

I’ve been away for a couple of weeks and really missed poncho, he’s just such a cutie! He ran round the paddock and loved playing fetch, he isn’t bad at dropping it for you to throw. Had some cuddles in the poets hut too.
