-We are pleased to share with you a brand-new Welcome Pack [see the attachments below] for the owners of retired racing greyhounds. This has been developed by our team of veterinary experts, with the support of Greyhound Forum members, as part of our long-term welfare strategy, ‘A Good Life for Every Greyhound’.
As well as general information about the breed and the history of the racing greyhound, the pack contains a wealth of advice about a greyhound’s ongoing care and how to support their transition to living in a domestic environment.
We hope that this is useful for your centre to share with potential and new owners, alongside the excellent advice and support you already provide, to help ensure successful retirement placements.
