Latimer LongHaired Dom. DofB ?2021 Horsham
Current Status: Homed
Latimer's Story: Latimer was trapped from a flat garden which had become over-run with unneutered and breeding cats. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place. Latimer is now neutered, chipped, and undergoing vaccinations. Latimer is in Gatwick Cattery whilst awaiting his new family.
If you are interested in rehoming one of our cats, please complete our Cat Homing Questionnaire. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new cat within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay cats: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our cats need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our cats back-up for life. Latimer's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our cats, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: We were called late at night on the 8th July, with a Rescue friend asking for help having trapped 8 cats and having no space to put them. We agreed to take all and all were flea treated, wormed, 1st vaccinated and the 6 males were neutered the next day and we received them in later that evening.
Latimer came into RescueRemedies on the 9th July 24

Re: Latimer LongHaired Dom. DofB TBAss RRemedies Centre
Latimer has settled in now and I spent a good 20 minutes today with him (much to the irritation of his friend Benson who shares with Latiner, who tried every trick in the book to catch my eye!).
Latimer is a thoroughly gorgeous gent - he had a good sniff of my hand and after deciding that I was OK, he was soon rolling onto his back and wanting his tummy stroked, and was purring beautifully
I gave him a good brush with the deshedding tool and his coat is lovely and shiny and he looms very smart!
I see Latimer being best suited to a nice quiet home where he can snooze on a soft squishy sofa all day, with a human friend to stroke him of course. He's very gentle and calm and would be a wonderful soothing pet to share a home with

I just adore Latimer! Had him on my lap purring and demanding tummy strokes for a good 20 minutes today. He's a total gentleman and so happy to have some love

Another wonderful visit with the lovely Latimer. He really is a special boy. He is so affectionate and loves attention. I love his cute scruffy mad hair look. I adore him … he would be a super addition to a home.

I don't know who wouldn't want Latimer as their cat! He's so friendly and is the first to jump on your lap. He's gentle, loves fuss and is quite vocal for such a little guy.

Latimer (or Lattie as I have been calling him!) is the perfect companion cat - a great big purring ball of fluffiness who just adores being loved
Him and Benson (his friend he shares with) were battling to clamber up first for snuggles today! So much love to give!
