This adorable munchkin has been with us for two weeks – what a lovely pooch! love4.gif He’s great to have around. When at home, he loves nothing more than a good snooze, either on you or on the sofa, and lots of cuddles. He also likes to potter around in the garden. And he also likes to play with his toys for brief sessions, here and there. He’s now eating very well and has a good appetite, especially in the evening.
He travels well in the car – you kind of forget he’s there. We went to a garden centre yesterday and he was so well behaved - he loved sniffing all the different pots.
He walks well on a lead – in the video it looks like he’s going really fast, but he’s actually walking right next to me and I was walking quite slowly. He doesn’t mind traffic at all – and I’m talking a lot of traffic here! He doesn’t mind other dogs, as long as they don’t get too close. He’s great with people and he’s happy to take cuddles from anyone.
We really hope that Buster finds his retirement sofa very soon! :crossfingers.gif:

Major breakthrough! Buster can actually go up and down the stairs! woo.gif] woo.gif] woo.gif]
This morning, we clearly were taking too long to get ready for his liking. And he decided to come upstairs with us to check what was going on. He was a bit tentative going downstairs, but the thought of going for a walk did it and he came down by himself. He was so chuffed!
And here's a video of Buster at the garden centre, checking out vases.

It's been 3 weeks since little Buster came to stay. Wow, time flies! His cute personality has started to show and he's a wonderful guest. He's very clever, he knows his name and will sometimes sit for you, if you ask nicely. He knows the walking route around our house and will ask you to go one way or another, depending on how he feels.
If you are looking for an adorably cute, cuddly, happy Jack Russell, do submit an application, as he's desperate to find his retirement sofa/lap!

Buster met Chris's elderly grandmother yesterday and brightened up her day. He was very gentle with her and so careful investigating around her house.
He also helped me around the garden - he's the perfect gardener! 0002.gif]

Buster is doing really well! He loves going on walks and he's now got a very healthy appetite.
We gave him a selection of toys and he obviously picked the biggest one - Mr Piggy. Every now and then he will bring it to one of us for a game of tug. At Chris's nan's he decided that a footstool was much more comfy than the floor and he made himself at home. 0002.gif]
He's adorable! We can't believe he hasn't been snapped up yet.

Buster came with us on holiday to North Yorkshire and thoroughly enjoyed it! He was as good as gold during the long car journey. He loved exploring new places and walking by the beach. We walked past a lot of dogs and he was super well behaved. We didn’t have any nose to nose encounters as we kept to areas where all dogs were on lead – Buster doesn’t like having dogs in his face, which is understandable. He wasn’t interested in chasing seagulls or cats.
He was very happy to be picked up on a few occasions (shops, steep steps, etc.) and we think he has realised we’re not going to drop him and he does enjoy being pampered.

He loved fish and chips and sausage rolls – in moderation. 0002.gif]

He was not impressed by the lack of a garden in the AirBnb and was so happy to be back here yesterday and enjoying sniffing around!

Buster went to the vet for his vaccination last week and he was as good as gold. He's such an adorable little chap!
He's still patiently waiting for his forever home and we do hope he'll find it very soon.
Here's a cute video of Buster trying to fit into his day bed with Mr Piggy - he put the toy in his bed. 0002.gif]
And a few cute shots of this beautiful pooch. love4.gif

Brave Buster went to the vets again yesterday and had 5 teeth removed. Poor little thing was feeling a bit down last night. So we gave him his favourite dinner - cooked chicken breast and scrambled eggs, in small portions. He slept well through the night and he's now chilling on the decking.

What fabulous write ups and amazing photos of this endearing little JRT. Lucky little dog to be so well cared for in his excellent foster home especially after his dental procedure. Everyone loves a proper little JRT and I feel that this little chap will find his forever home soon as who could resist him having read about him on this forum. bighug.gif

Buster-kins has been with us for 2 months now. He’s an absolute darling! We’re pleased to report that he recovered from his dental majestically and he’s now got a very healthy appetite. Clearly, the dental got rid of his pain and he loves his food, which is so great to see.
He loves going for walks especially in the morning – we usually walk him for at least 20 minutes, often more than that, as he’s usually full of beans. In the evening, the walk depends on the weather (pouring rain like last night), and it can be replaced by a pig play session – tug of war, fetch the pig, etc.
In the afternoon, he loves a good snooze, but can have the occasional burst of energy, potter in the garden, play time, etc.
He had a bit of a skin irritation, which is now much better, thanks to medical baths. He doesn’t mind being bathed in the bathtub and massaged. I think he secretly enjoys it, really! 0002.gif]
He sleeps well through the night. He prefers sleeping in his own bed, as he’s a bit wary of feet moving under the blankets, they make him anxious.
He loves cuddles and sometimes if you stop cuddling him, he will bump you with his nose to ask for more (so cute!). He can be a lap dog depending on how he feels – he does love to climb aboard a lap in the morning. During the day he prefers to be next to you, but sometimes he will climb onto your lap, if he decides to.
He’s really quiet and rarely makes a noise – he only lets out a mini bark if there’s something of concern – i.e. someone close to our back fence or a fox, etc.
He’s overall a really chilled out dog that loves human company. love4.gif
