Update on Wilma. The results from the blood test are not good news unfortunately - kidneys are failing and uncertainty with liver function. We are seeing the vet again on Wednesday regarding a renal diet but our thoughts are very much focusing on Wilma's quality of life. Today she has spent many hours sleeping and her appetite is poor. Chrissy thank you for your kind words.

Bless her heart. So sorry the results were not what you hoped for. You must have a lot to think about; remember as you move forward, you know her best and love her lots and that is really important. Sending positive thoughts xx

Let her have exactly what she wants ...I went the renal diet with my boy and he hated it and the time he had left wasn't as good as it should have been and I will always hold that regret....sending you lots of love ... bighug.gif

Thank you for the advice. We tried and it worked for a few days with 'incentives'. Then we started adding her meat. It's been a very hard time for us all and we realise Wilma is not getting any better so we've made the hard decision. This evening we have a vet coming into our home to PTS. Yesterday we gave her liver for her tea, today she has some sausages. We'll be taking her out in the car for a ride later as she always enjoys that. A very sad day for us 😢
