Sadly Phillip's body has been breaking down over the last 2 weeks. His family and their vets tried but this morning Phillip knew his time had come and his family offered him Peace

It is always wonderful when our dogs are adopted into loving families and can forget their past. Phillip known as Roidney to his family was so happy and had a wonderful life we are ever grateful...

Shocked and saddened to read this news.

Phillip was one of those dogs that I just had to walk or at least day hello to every time I was at the Rescue.

Rest in peace big man.

We are absolutely devastated as a family,he's been back and forth to the vets since august,he was on steroids for his skin , nerve issues ,then he started to trip over and when he shook when he'd had a bath he's back end would go down ,he was put on painkillers.
The past 2 weeks he couldn't hold his poo and had an upset tummy in and off and sometimes was walking and going to the toilet,he was put on antibiotics on Monday, along with gabapentin .
I got up this morning he had lost control of his bowels ,the room ,his bed and Rodney was covered in a crumbly poop .
He couldn't get in the bath so we lifted him in ,he came out and was stumbling around .
We got an emergency appointment first thing ,and we was told that the kindest thing would to put him to sleep as he'd deteriorated so much since Monday .
We are absolutely devastated

Do take heart that your boy knew how much you loved him and he loved you back as they do, such a beautiful dog and how you transformed his life ❤️
