Roco had a cyst taken off his shoulder last week. He was 'put out' for a few days and needed extra pain control as he is a sensitive chap. Pleased to say he is getting back into the swing of things and enjoying Sue and Tom's care and summer days

Roco is back on good form and enjoying himself in Bushy Park. All other dogs have to be on a lead which makes walking Roco much easier. He has a new buddy called Rocky who is a Patterdale cross. Recently adopted from another rescue company. We won’t hold that against him!😉 Here they are sharing a treat from Rocky’s owner and Jasper is looking for treats too.

Roco loves fetching his ball. He won’t do it for too long lately he is 7 now! He likes to have a good sniff too. I can’t foster him for much longer so he needs a forever home urgently. He needs someone who understands his ways and insecurities. When he rewards me with a Roco cuddle (coming to sit by me) it’s very special.

Roco did so well yesterday. He managed to walk calmly through a pack of dogs at Virginia Water. He said hello to a few and ignored a few. He is learning to be a sociable boy. He still gets nervous when other dogs approach him first but he has come so far with the help of Rocky in these past few weeks. It’s breaking my heart that he has to go back in the kennels soon. He is a handful but he is worth it. Please think of him for adoption. Sorry no photos too busy be sociable!

I’m delighted to say Roco is staying in his foster home for a while longer. My daughter and her friend, Lydia, have agreed to take care of him while I’m away and evaluate the situation at the end of September. Here’s the boy with his new crocodile, he’s very happy - the fox seems to have taken the old one. Roco you must not leave your toys in the garden!

That is so kind of your daughter Sue. Roco would find kennels a confusing place after being fostered for so long and so that is great. :thanks.gif:
