Gorgeous King has had a couple of vet visits over the last few months. He has been gulping and retching at times taking in air to his stomach. The vets were not sure what was going on for him until he had a specialist scope on the 14th of July.

The specialist felt King has Helicodacter bacteria overgrowth in his stomach and will need 4 weeks antibiotics. She’s sent samples off to be tested and we should get the results in 10 days. All his bloods came back fine. This is great news as king can be treated and should make a full recovery. ❤️ wheyhey.gif

King is feeling so much better now, he’s been a good boy, and loving training. Still looking for an adults only home with someone who is around a lot He needs slow intros but once he knows you he will bond with you very strongly. He will need time to settle and unpack.

It’s important to do things at kings pace let him feel safe and build his confidence. He loves learning new doggies skills and gains lots of confidence from his foster sister carmies. Ming is such an affectionate boy and looks to his humans to keep him safe, such a sweetheart. ❤️

King is doing really well. So calm in my flat now very well behaved at my mums flat and really well behaved with my dog walker and my two friends that look after him when I go into work.

He loves playing with a tennis ball in the garden and can get very excited, I just generally leave him to play on his own which ends up in him doing zoomies then he calms down and comes back into the flat. He needs slow intros to new people but only takes a few minutes before he’s calm and settled, same with new dogs really slow intros then he’s nice and easy with other dogs.

He is a typical lurcher so you can’t leave any food out and expect to see it there if your back is turned. He’s very affectionate loves a cuddle and wants to be on the sofa or in my bed all the time. He’s so ready for his for every home which would ideally look something like this:

* Adults only
* Either as only dog or with a calm chilled doggie
* Not for off lead
* Experienced patient doggie owners who are willing to go at kings pace.
* To have his humans around a lot especially at the beginning so he can settle and grow in confidence.
* To live in a quiet area.

Once you get to know king and allow him to settle he is a gorgeous doggie. I wish my dog liked him more but I know carmies is not that happy having a second dog so I can’t keep king. I’m moving to Cornwall in Octber/November time so really want him to find his forever home before then as he cannot go back to kennels.
