Zippy is indeed a great little dog Tina - he has to walk with his muzzle on because he can redirect onto his walker if he gets stressed by other dogs. That said, he loved his walk with Roco this morning. How brilliant did they look! Two little black Patterdales walking together and enjoying that feeling of being part of a pack. Zippy, as usual, was so well behaved. He always walks well with another dog - otherwise we go to the paddock so he can play with the tennis balls there. The paddock was just too wet today for Zip. What wouldn't I give for this little dog to find his own forever home? That home would have to be safe and secure, with no other dogs and with responsible owners who know never to let him off lead and who know that he must wear his muzzle when out. Zippy is affectionate, loyal and very trusting once he knows you. His fan club at the kennels is getting bigger as the walkers are realizing what a dear little chap this dog is. Come on Zippy's future owner please find him and rescue this dog from a life in kennel care. :crossfingers.gif:

Another week has passed with Zippy still in kennel care. This little dog would totally thrive in a home. The right home - one where he is given time and space to settle in a safe, calm environment with loving, terrier experienced owners. Today we had another walk with Tricia and the film star looking Roco. Both little dogs seem to enjoy their walks together. We went at a brisk pace through the woods. Zippy was, as usual, reluctant to walk at first but soon put his best paw forward following Roco. Dear little dog. :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: Heart fill with love.gif]

Yep - another week has passed with Zippy still in kennel care. Just so wish someone would see his potential - he is a great, affectionate little dog who has served more than his time in kennels. He needs the right home but he would so enrich that right home. Please look back at the pictures of him on his weekend foster with Sarah to see what a great little house guest he made. Today we walked with the beautiful Roco and Tricia and both boys seem to enjoy each other's company. The paddock is still too muddy for Zippy to have his usual run around and chase of the balls but hopefully spring is just around the corner and we can do that soon. Please people, if you think you would be accepted by the rescue to home Zippy, look at his thread and get that homing form filled in. You must have a secure garden, and be (difficult) terrier aware experienced. You must give this little dog time to unpack - he has been in kennel care for years and years. Please consider him. :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif:

Jan and I took Zippy to the paddock, he had a wonderful time chasing his ball, he was on top form today, the mud did not deter him from running in the mud. As Helen mentions Zippy deserves a home that understands him, he will need time to adjust, but he will surround you with love, fingers crossed your home comes soon bighug.gif

Another week for Zippy in the kennels - a cold, wet, miserable week. How he would love to have some home comforts and to have his own special human. We went out again with fellow walker Tricia and the beautiful Roco and both boys seemed to enjoy themselves in the wet, windy woods. We all got a bit muddy and came back via the roads. Zippy is OK with traffic and walks well on the pavements. This boy needs a special home - come on people take a look at his info and see if you could be the lucky person to take him home. He deserves his own home. :crossfingers.gif: :smiley-bounce016.gi:

I took dear little Zippy to the paddock today, we had a great game of ball, he is so good at bringing the ball back to you, he does a little dance to tell you to hurry up and throw the ball!!. Zippy loves a cuddle and a treat, he is such a special lad, come on Zippys home, that special family must be out there Heart fill with love.gif]

Yes, Elaine, I feel that loving and appropriate home must be out there for Zippy but I have almost given up! He really is such a great little dog and so deserves a break. We went out for our usual walk with walker Tricia and the totally lovely Roco and had a good time. We stuck to the pavements as the mud and water were knee high and the thought of the paddock where Zippy loves to chase balls defeated me! It was excellent though for Zippy as we met loads of dogs on our way to Smallfield and back and not once did Zippy show any negative reaction. Brilliant boy Zippy - so proud of you sweetheart. Zippy and I had our usual jaunt with Tricia and Roco - on the pavements to Smallfield. It wasn't too enjoyable yesterday - Zippy was nearly blown off the bridge such was the force of the wind - and he clearly hates the mud and isn't too keen on rain but bless him he was a little trooper and enjoyed the sniffs along the way. Once back in his pen he ate his usual treats. Great little chap. :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif:
