If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.
Bronson's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Welcome Bronson, you big, friendly, handsome boy. Great character, great personality. Bronson will be a walkers favourite for sure. We have some volunteers who love big dogs.
Re: Bronson Presa Canario DofB 06.03.13 Gatwick Kenns
Well I am one of those volunteers who LOVE big dogs so Bronson had to be on my list to walk today. What can I say but WOW!! He is such a friendly boy and was keen to get out. He can be strong if he is on a mission as he has a lot of weight behind him but as soon as we had left the kennel he walked along beautifully, very laid back with slack leads. We passed loads of dogs on our walk and Bronson was not fussed by any of them, even one who was barking at him - what a good boy!
Bronson is very cuddly and really enjoys a fuss and cuddle If only my sofa was large enough for another big dog ...

I had a lovely walk with Bronson. He is a delight! Yep he is big and strong but you only notice when he first heards out of kennels. After a few minutes he settles and just plods along very happily.
He is a big soppy boy who loves cuddles and a bum scratch. Great manners and a kind nature. Didn't bat an eyelid when we passed Karma who was pulling towards him, one look and then he carried on mooching along. Love him loads. No pictures as I didn't have a mobile but I now have a new phone for next time - unless this gorgeous lump mooches off to his forever home.

Lovely walk with Bronson today. What a gorgeous hunk of a dog he is. His pictures don’t really do him justice. He has got such a nice nature. He was easy to walk once out of the kennels and apart from trying to hump my leg once when I stopped for a minute, he was a delight. I soon realised the key is to keep him moving forward and not to hang about. He was very good when we passed other dogs, no reaction at all, lovely boy.

Another lovely walk with Bronson today. We went along the river and he totally ignored the swans, even though they were out of the water and on the path. He was in a very happy mood and loves getting out and having a good sniff around. No problems at all with the dogs we met, he doesn’t really register any interest at all and he also ignored the cows. He didn’t pull at all, even when going down some steps, he waited nicely and listened to me and we had a very enjoyable time.

Bronson took no notice of the awful rain, he wanted his walk and that was that. It is nice to walk such an enthusiastic but well mannered dog like him. We had a lovely relaxed amble and apart from the very start, he didn’t pull at all and was very good on the narrow pavement. Bronson really listens and is so engaged with his walker. Lovely boy.

The more I walk this gorgeous lump the more I like him. He’s actually a very accomplished boy with lots of doggie skills, walks really nicely, listens, engages with you and can move surprisingly quickly as well. We had a lovely amble around the woods this morning and he was just so happy to be out in the sun and frost. He even posed for some photos to show how handsome he is.
