Flossie's Story: Flossie sadly lost her family as she fell out with her litter sister. You are extremely lucky of you get away with 2 terrier bitches living together and if the relationship breaks down it can be very difficult to harmonise again. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Flossie is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Flossie was in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting her new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Flossie's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: Flossie's family asked us to support Flossie and find her a new family.

Flossie came into us on the 31st July 2019

Sweet Flossie is a little bewildered in the kennel environment right now but she made good friends with Charlie today and her tail came up as she enjoyed her walk and all the smells and sniffs along the way thumbs.gif

Flossie also posed perfectly for her photoshoot - such a sweetheart and such a looker love4.gif

Totally adorable! I hope she settles very soon and gets the home she deserves. I can't wait to meet her.

Flossie is an absolute sweetheart, I brought some cheese for her as it is her favourite treat woo.gif] Flossie was really excited to be going out, what a difference a week makes to her confidence. She walks really well stopping now and then for a sniff and a munch on the grass. We passed a few dogs, she just ignored them. Footsie would benefit from an active family, she would bring so much joy to them. Heart fill with love.gif]

I had the pleasure of Flossie’s company twice yesterday. Unfortunately she has hurt the lad on her paw so she got 2 short ambles round the grassy area and of course some cuddle time. This girl is just so sweet. She just loves affection and human company and is very bewildered in the kennel environment. Whoever gets to adopt this sweet little girl will be a lucky human indeed.

We walked beautiful Flossie yesterday and what a fun little girl she is! She was very calm on her walk and liked pausing for a sniff every now and then. She didn't pay any attention to other dogs walking past and was happy to stop for a cuddle. What a gorgeous girl!
