Marina's Story: Marina came into care with a cat which will be rehomed separately via a Cat Rescue. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Marina is now neutered, chipped, and vaccinations are in progress. Marina is in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting her new family.

If interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and sadly due to unprecedented interest, we will only be able to contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £200. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Marina's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: Marina needed a Rescue place so we offered her one.

Marina came into our Rescue on the 9th April 2021

Marina is indeed a beauty and so very friendly and gentle she enjoyed a walk yesterday with Teddy and Marco.
I think that she loved having some doggy friends with her and walked along very nicely.

I loved meeting Marina today, she's a lovely, friendly girl who is a bit scared of all the noise in the kennels at the moment, so I was met with tight snuggles and she was a bit trembly, but not surprising as she's had an operation and it's all new to her. Out on our walk, Marina relaxed a lot and was very easy on the lead. She seems to be a very sweet, gentle girl, who didn't seem to mind other dogs passing nearby. I can't wait to get to know her as her confidence grows. Sweet girl.

What a little sweetheart. Marina was a little nervous when I entered her kennel, but I knelt down and allowed her time to get to know me. When she was ready, I clipped on the leads and we headed out for a lovely, relaxed walk. Once away from the kennels, Marina relaxed and took the time to stop and sniff and munch on some fresh grass and cleavers.

It was coming back through the woods I saw her come alive. Marina was very excited to see all the frisky squirrels charging up and down the trees. She stood on her hind legs to get a better view as they scurried up the trees.
