Bruno's Story: Bruno was found abandoned and unclaimed within a South Coast council pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Bruno is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Bruno was in boarding kennels near Guildford and is living in his family as an only dog whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Seems to be a lovely boy - after his photoshoot he headed off after Hooch walked by Chris and myself - after an initial bout of excitement Bruno seemed happy enough with company, albeit a safe distance away - lovely walk :D

Bruno is a real champ. Was allocated him last Saturday, very keen to get his harness on and leads, and after a playful wrestle we were away.
Yes he did look for the leads but soon lost focus. Was different on two occasions we met dogs whilst out, first time perfect but after looked for the leads, second time made to go forward to meet and less fuss of the leads. Saw no aggression from him.
Also took Bruno out for a second time in the week into the paddock where he promptly jumped onto my lap. No Bruno is not really lap dog size but hey who am I to say no to alittle attention from a handsome chap! Hi

Stuart had Bruno in the little paddock when I had Skye in the big paddock yesterday. Bruno had a ball and was running up and down the fence when Skye tried to join in from the other side. Both dogs were OK with each other's presence and Bruno pretty much ignored Skye tbh. No growling or reaction from either dog.

Geoff likes walking Bruno, he’s a handsome boy, who loves going for his walks. He’s a happy little boy, generally good around other dogs, occasionally a bit vocal, he doesn’t pull on the lead, takes treats gently and was really happy to be wiped down at the end of his walk, although he didn’t seem to mind the rain either!! :smiley-chores002.gif:

Bruno is a lovely lovely boy. I gave him a lead to carry we headed out with no issues. At the paddock Bruno had a happy trot about with his tail held up like a little flagpole 0002.gif] he never dropped his lead the whole time I was out with him! As soon as I sat down he made a B-line to my lap and leaned in for some good scritches. He's a typical cuddly, loving Staffie in nature and he obviously enjoyed our walk around the woods afterwards. A* pup with a wonderful good-natured character 😍

It was my first time meeting and walking this little chap today. He can be a lead grabber (stress related) but I gave him his rope raggy toy thing to carry out of the kennels which worked a treat, he gave it a good shaking on the way out and then carried it very proudly all the way round on our walk! He walks very well and liked to be out front but didnt really pull (only a little on the way back), he was no trouble at all, a very easy walk. Took him to the paddock when we got back, he found a tennis ball which he happily carried around but he was not overly playful, he just wanted to follow me around and then sit with me and have strokes.
Lovely cute boy.
