Diesel's Story: Diesel is now 8 years young: Change of circumstance prompts need to rehome. Diesel is a great family pet but hasn't been socialised with dogs or cats. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Diesel is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Diesel was in boarding kennels near Guildford whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Diesel's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: Sadly Diesel's owner couldn't look after him anymore and everyone closeby had other animals in their lives so could take Diesel in.

Diesel is fantastic. He is a typical chunky, people loving staffie boy. Louise took him for a walk this morning and just said he was a lovely, easy boy.

Diesel travelled to the vets today in the dog mobile with 4 other dogs (all in individual crates, except for Diesel...Diesel awas my front passenger and so enjoyed the long journey taking it all in. Diesel was soon wised up to the vet and made for the door thank you very much. Having refused 2x to accept the vet near him we applied a muzzle but both felt he wouldn't have bitten, but it did render him still, so he was vaccinated then made a bi=g fuss of 'cause he is a big baby!

Diesel is just the happiest boy out and about on his walks. Yesterday we went out to enjoy the sunshine. Diesel enjoyed rolling in the grass and paddle in the stream.

While Diesel is walking he has the cutest wiggly ears, a wiggly bum and the biggest, happiest Staffie smile.

Louise and I had such a fun walk with Diesel and Hadley this morning. Diesel was showing off rolling around in the grass, then doing play bows in the hope Hadley would play with him. Hadley was more than up for this and started bouncing around with excitement and copying Diesel's rolling antics. After a bouncing and rolling session it was easy to calm the boys again and focus back on our walk. Here is Diesel enjoying a cool off in the stream and then walking calmly with Hadley close behind keen to keep up with his buddy. Such a happy walk for all of us.

This morning I had the pleasure of walking laid back gentleman Diesel. What a gorgeous squidgy chap he is, we walked along the river towpath slowly where he loved to roll around in the grass enjoying his tummy rubbed! He would make a loyal companion, he makes you feel like your the centre of his world. He wasn’t fazed by dogs passing just happy to be out exploring. This gentleman is to super to be in kennels he so much love and sqidgyness to share! love4.gif

Having a rest
Having a rest
I walked this chunky monkey on Sunday and have to agree with every thing that has been said about him. He is a delightful chap, such a friendly boy. Coming out of kennels he was so happy skipping along like a youngster, so lovely to see. He loved rolling in the grass and enjoyed his walk and then a bit of paddock time for a little play and cuddles. I hope he is homed soon, this dog has a lot of life and love to give some lucky person.
