Texx Staffie DofB 01.14 Fareham Hants
Re: Texx Staffie DofB 01.14 Guildford Kenns
I wasn’t sure Texx would want to come for a walk in such bad weather but he was keen to get out and didn’t complain. As usual, he was lovely to harness and walk out and was so good on the pavement with cars whizzing by and water splashing. I think he was a bit disappointed that there were no squirrels around to get excited about. No photos today due to the weather. He enjoyed being dried off and a nice cuddle, he is such an affectionate boy and so beautiful.

Texx is a lovely doggo and seems to have been overlooked by people, but he deserves a good home - preferably with a paddling pool and some tennis balls. He's affectionate, handsome, funny and engaging. Worth considering.

Texx was beautifully behaved on his weekend stay! He is so relaxed and chilled. I honestly don’t know why he hasn’t been scooped up.
He receives lots of attention on walks and he happy to please people when he is stopped for being such a handsome boy. Texx responds to his well, he awaits patiently for his food.
Another great perk to Texx is that he is house trained so will only sit on furniture with you if he is asked to. He’s so happy and content and really appreciates everything.
Texx is very intrigued when he goes on walks, but as soon as he gets home he settles well. He does become a bit reactive to some dogs but when you spot a dog in the distance when reassurance is given he greets all dogs really nicely. Texx responds really well to reassurance when and if he becomes unsettled. He has never been socialised with other dogs so it’s no surprises that he gets so excited and desperate to say hi when a dog comes along. We took him to an outdoor pub on Saturday and he behaved beautifully. He didn’t bark once and was very interested just people and dog watching by our side.
What a lovely boy, excited to have you stay with us again Texx.

Texx is such a gorgeous gentle boy, he is so lovely to handle, from the moment you put his harness on, walking nicely without pulling and he loves water and jumping in the river. He does get very excited if he thinks there’s a squirrel but that’s very manageable. It was very hot today so we had a short wander and he jumped in and out of the water at least 10 times and was very happy.

Handsome Texx is such a good boy in his kennel, he is very happy to see you when you first go in but then he is so calm and stands still and waits patiently while you get him ready, one of the easiest dogs to harness. Out walking he was a good boy and enjoyed all the sights and smells, especially looking for squirrels! We passed Homer on the way back, no reaction from Texx, just moved him to one side and focussed on a treat.

My first time walking Texx and it seems that Texx is Guildford's best kept secret, he is so easy and calm. His only fault that I found, was he spends a lot of time looking up much to the detriment that he doesn't always see what is going on in wooded areas on the ground (all squirrels at the slightest sound must be up in a tree apparently), it made me laugh a fair few times as he missed them low level. He was very easy to walk up to Loseley, he took his time to get his five a day (the special green 'salad' grass) and when he heard a dog bark he did stop to assess where it was, but was easy to 'come on lets keep going' and all fine with the black lab looking downs from the walled garden near the field. Joyous dog to walk and takes food so very gently.

Took Texx for a first time walk. He greeted me with lots of kisses, and was easy to harness. Off we went on our way. He loved looking around in hedges with lots of sniffing. Easy little man to walk. Stopped by a lake for a drink of water then headed back. Hope this little man finds his forever home soon.

PLEASE SAVE TEXX
Texx is the sweetest, most engaging, happy & funny boy!
Texx is around 5 years old so is in the prime of life.
I met him for the first time on Sunday and fell in love with him instantly! He’s a gentle boy who sits nicely to be harnessed, walks calmly on the lead (unless there are geese or squirrels!!) and absolutely LOVES WATER! He sits nicely for treats and loves to show off his paw!
Texx has had a weekend foster so has proven himself to be house trained, enjoys a leisurely afternoon at the pub and upon slow introduction, greets other dogs nicely.

Had a lovely walk with Texx today. Texx is such an all-round smashing dog. He walks well on a leash and responds very well to "sit" and "hand" with treats as encourage in hand. He does have a high prey drive and wanted to make friends with some cows along our walk but it is nothing unmanageable. At the end of our walk, we went to the paddock and he leaned in for lots of cuddles. He found a toy he liked and sat quietly next to me while we chilled. Such a wonderful dog, hope he gets his home soon!
